Overflow Issue- If the entire chests fills up, as well as the first hopper, the upper sorting hoppers in the area breaks, creating an eventual chain reaction if not constantly monitored. Is there any way to fix this issue?

why 4 dirt and 41 sorted item? ive seen setups where there were 5 of each dirt and 3 sorted item. but no one ever explains how these numbers work. i mean.. if i want to sort netherite ingots in survival i cant exactly throw away 41 of them just to setup a sorter

Other setups are possible, but this one is the most efficient. Using different setups may risk the sorter system being unable to process your items quickly enough, leading to system failure.

Nonstackables cannot be sorted, only as a whole for unstackable items such as enchanted books and swords and stuff. I'm using this for my gold farm to get rid of all the gold swords.
