There's actually some really efficient lava farms out there that you can build with this on the last step of the farm. Although if you need a bunch of obsidian for a portal farm your still probably better off with an obsidian farm in the end but this is way easier

I would recommend putting a block above the waterlogged leaves, sometimes the buckets land on top of them

The issue I was having was dry firing in Java 1.21.3. The buckets weren't always landing in the hopper. Putting a wooden fence block behind the target obsidian block and reducing my efficiency from V to IV made the hopper always pick up the block to reset the clock. This was on singleplayer with a Ryzen 5 and a Radeon 570. I do use shaders and am not certain that the issue was the build or possible undetectable lag. Regardless, Eff. IV fixed it once I added the fence.

Ok cool. But how do you get so many lava buckets???? At this point this becomes too much of a hassle for me and I prefer just watering down lava pools and mining my obsidian that way. You can easily get 2-3 stacks per lake

To a version that's works in bedrock, just search: Como fazer farm de obsidian no minecraft. By: Furtadinho. This farm is more simple and don't need understand what's his saying. Is his version, after u finish the farm, just put a block of wood above de first obsidian. This way the objects will always fall in the hopper.

Lava can be produced with a dripstone and a cauldron.
@ilcucchiaio81755 ай бұрын
Maybe not a “farm”, but it’s certainly an efficient processing station. Obsidian production always requires a 1:1 ratio of Lava to Obsidian, so the farm itself can’t be called inefficient by meeting this. It isn’t wasting resources at any point.

Make the wither farm instead hah!!

Sure, you can absolutely do that. But if you just need a small amount, stuff like this is nice to have in stock. I like it for its mechanical simplicity.

It should work, because it doesn't use gamebreaking glitches or something like that to work. It's al solid redstone and long time features

you can also make an obsidian generator (similar to a cobblestone generator) if you have the lava converts to source gamerule set to true, although that is kind of a cheat
