A tour of my Minecraft Beta server world as of May 2024.

I love how these type of videos are getting a lot more popular recently. I've always loved older versions of the game and it's so calming to sit down on a night and watch these kind of vids while drinking some tea. Cool world btw, very nice!

Hell yeah, I love watching minecraft world tours like this. I love how your world is sectioned off into districts and stuff, it makes it feel very lived in. As for the torch on the 0, 0 coordinate, maybe it would be cool to place a lighthouse there? Or a lighthouse anywhere along the coastline, really.

Regarding farmland - you can put fences underneath the farmland and it wont get trampled anymore, neither by animals nor by players, mobs etc. You can jump on it as much as you please. If any concept ideas come to mind, I'll edit this comment.

The terrain generation was so much better back in beta 1.7 and before. Hard to find areas like this in modern minecraft where you can build large villages with lovely views

12:00 I think you can put fence posts under farm land in beta. this means mobs & the player can't trample it

This was what I wished and dreamed of when Beta 1.7.3 was the "new" version, just being able to get together with a bunch of friends committed to crafting out a world from our imagination. Love how nice you've made everything look as well, it can be a challenge considering the "primitive" palette we're given but maybe it's also a strength...we aren't too overwhelmed by our choices. Would love to continue to see updates.

i have just barely started a single player world that i want to play on for a long time, and I love the concept of all these builds being connected to each other. I for one would love to see how you setup the redstone, bc i really suck at redstone. I love the creativity from building to building, and i really hate watching tutorials for builds and would much rather get ideas and build something myself! thanks for the tour!

for the fence idea, you could use a birch log to make the leaves persist, its quite similar to stone slabs in hue, you could do something like this: s s s l l l s s s b s s

very cool world, one of the best I've seen. your skyline idea is really cool, why not add some boats infront of it? I think sailships and paddle wheelers are awesome. Also, you're the only person I've seen even try to make anything in the nether, so that's nice.

Trees in forest biome are more green in Minecraft Beta, I like it more. Today this saturated green is only used in jungle.
