A tornado tries to prevent us from finding each other. The tornado picks up blocks and throws them, as well as destroying everything in it's path. it could literally destroy your base. and as you can guess it can pick up players and mobs. I'm going to be respawning so many times..
This is a new gamemode in 1.16 where players go out into the world and all compete by making hidden houses and last secret base standing is the winner!
but be warned rules are you can only craft at your beacon which you need to keep safe!

i have 2 ideas. 1. do a hide or hunt in a jungle map, so finding bases is much harder and forces players to play more aggressive. 2. duos but you build 2 separate bases, similar to the first person i see is my teammate one, but if one base gets knocked out, you can flip a coin to either bring back that base, or your partners base gets knocked out.

Ryan, you should try the fake base technique. You've got much better awareness and caution, especially around your base, so I think if you maybe do a ladder down, dig a short tunnel over to the fake base, and then make it look scuffed af. Then, find a convenient place to put your base that uses the fake base as cover.
