I know this has nothing to do with the video but I wanted to suggest some dream smp fan songs and two people I suggest are Kanaya and Precious jewel amor they both make dream smp themes for the members but a would wait bit before watching them because of spoilers. Also if you want a album of dream smp fan songs Oh no he is back makes album’s and by this point you should be able to react to the 1st album without spoiling anything. what i'd do is craft a bucket or two and fill them with water, then farm for food and wood, then tower up and make a cobble generator and as the lava rises i can move it up - blocks are essential for aerial combat

if I ever did a lava rise challenge, I would have two priorities: - blocks/materials - food In that order. Collect stone as fast as possible, maybe snatch some iron if you find some (bucket/perhaps shield or flint and steel). One you get stone, make a stone axe/shovel for collecting wood and dirt. Those will be the main building materials. If you're not moving around it takes a long time to starve, so only gather food if you see it along your path. Use stone for tools and a furnace, smelt food and iron while you're collecting building blocks. I wouldn't build up early and instead just wait out the lava for as long as possible to gather more blocks so that I can outlast everyone.

You mentioned Battleship and cheating by moving your ships during the game, and I was suddenly reminded of a set of custom rules I came up that allows that to happen. Basically, you start off that same as normal. However, on your turns, you may choose one of your ships to move. It can only move one unit at a time, and it cannot move into a square that your opponent guessed and missed. You can also not move a part of your ship that has a red peg in it (meaning you cannot move a part that has been hit by your opponent). This means that if a ship has been hit once, all it can do is rotate about that point. If it has been hit more than once, it can't move or rotate at all, and is stuck.

7:30 the funny thing is that techno wears glasses and actually broke his glasses in early December (right before a plot stream on the Dream SMP actually) and has been keeping his glasses together with scotch tape for the past 2-3 weeks. (He jokes about it on his stream sometimes) So it’s very likely that 4.25 million subscriber hacer technoblade is sitting at his computer with scotch taped glasses seeing furnace pixels, which I find exceedingly hilarious.

My guess is that Techno had Optifine for whatever version Dream SMP was on but not the version this server was on. I think Dream SMP only updated to 1.16.4 this Monday and the video was recorded before that.

Also the thing about /gamemode 1, 2, 0 doesn't work anymore, it use to work on the older versions but I think they removed it in 1.14. I hate that you can't do /gamemode 1 or /gamemode c anymore. It might be something to do with spectator mode.
