For the diamonds, the 7 block south only works for 80% of seeds or something and the amount of blocks you need to go out on also depends on chunk boundaries. The method actually works 100% of the time unless a cave or a lava patch tries to spawn near the diamond vein. Good luck.

The dirty swamp diamond trick does work, you just need to make sure the clay patch and the block you dig down are in the same chunk. Even then it's not 100%, since the math-magic-spawning-stuff for swamp diamonds is the same for blobs of diorite or granite, but checking for chunk borders increases your rates by a lot. All info lifted from Impulse's 3rdLife ep, hope this helps!

The 7 blocks (in the positive Z direction) wrap around at the chunk boundary rather than continuing into the next chunk. Impulse has been doing it very successfully in 3rd Life. It doesn't always work as diamonds can be overwritten by diorite and granite but it should be there somewhere around 2/3 of the time.

The task that Lizzie asked you to do actually does work. If you activate the chunk graph it will show you each chunk. If you count 7 blocks south but hypothetically on the 4th block you run into the chunk border, go to the opposite side of that chunk and continue from the 4th block. Watch the original video (or just watch quiff) to understand this better.

there is more to the clay diamond finding. first it isn't always 7 blocks south. sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less. it depends on the seed. and sometimes its north instead. and if it crosses a chunck border you have to continue counting at the other side of the same chunck

Minecraft, but all blocks make animal sounds when you walk on them. Obviously, there are more blocks than mobs. Decorative color blocks, light sources, saplings/grass/flowers/ferns, beds, chests, tables, and all types of doors will make their normal sounds. Whatever animal a block sounds like, the sound of the block breaking will be used as the animal's sound. For example, if you're walking on grass it can make the zombie sound effect, and zombies can sound like a dirt block being broken.

Also, the swamp trick, you have to be inside the same chunk. One block inside of the chunk border. And what I have found is that if you find any type of cave or large whole while going down, there will no diamonds. It has to be solid all the way down.

The only ways I can think of to die by a flower are the Wither Rose, and if you really want to stretch the definition of “by a flower”; falling from a high place onto a block that has a flower on it. Or having someone hit you with one but that requires a second person

That was the wrong type of clay patch. The one that usually works is a 3x3 square with 1 on the middle of each side. And you do count the middle block. There is a chance it doesn't work on your seed. Watch the video by Matthew bolan for help.

The diamond thing USED to work, but it got patched in 1.16. There is some variance to it depending on the seed and the chunk borders. If you go across the a chunk border you were supposed to go back to the opposite side of the chunk and continue counting

For the clay trick, you have to view chunk borders and dig 7 blocks from the Z cord of the center clay block, but stay within the chunk. This means if the 7th block would pass the border, you have to go to the opposite end of the chunk. Sorry if that sounds confusing. Also, this works only about 80% of the time and not everytime.

when you do the diamond mining thing you gotta do the following: Find a Swamp Biome press f3 and G to get up the chunk borders find the center of the clay patch (the smaller ones have a higher chance of working) count 7 away from the center (ala not counting the center) If it goes past the chunk border then continue counting from the other side of the chunk Every world has diamonds either 6/8 or 0 blocks away from the center of the clay so keep that in mind

You have to make sure the swamp task keeps you in one chunk. It worked about 30% of the time I tried it. I dug down side by side blocks, so I didn't fall into lava.
