This video was made during the BASIC STAGES OF MINECRAFT! Back then, if there was no torch, you couldn't see shit at night. That is the theme of the redstone sword. If you make a comment about how this is outdated, just remember, this video was made BEFORE even the nether existed.(that was the best update ever....1.4 i think) So in other words, suck it :)

My best crafting idea would be, a pencil. You would need a stick under a piece of charcoal, the pencil by itself wouldn't to anything, kinda like a bone, but when you combine it in a crafting box with a book and quill, you would get a sketch book which you could use to make drawings and then when you open the sketch book there would be a "Draw", and a "Tear" option, if you selected Tear, you would get an item that would look like an empty map, but with black lines across it, and you would be able to hang up the item on a block like paintings, there would also be a third button in the sketch book, you would be able to name pages, at first all the page names would be numbered, like "Page 1, 2 , & 3", but you would be able to type in a name, and when you hung up the drawing if you hovered the cursor over it, a name tag of the name you gave it would pop-up over it, and the item of the drawing would be named whatever name you gave it. Also you would be able to create colored pencils by combining a pencil with any dye in a crafting table, and if you had them in you're inventory they would pop-up as their colors in square form while drawing a page, you would be able to get different colors to use if you selected these colors. There would also be a pencil size bar, where you could change the size of the pencil when you draw. Anyone else think this should be sent to the developers?

Poison Arrow, the idea of hitting an enemy and when I hit him/her slowly dying makes me happy but if you want to put in poison arrows would probably be best to put in an antidote potion other wise well ya know lol

hmmmmm enteresting hey why haven't they mmade a more glowstone Mod yet? or have they? like you know Glow ston of differant collors. then again I supose they could simply make a mod where you could die them certain clors giveing them their own natural color would seem to have any real purpose unless you got more glow ston from certain blocks not to mention the idea of makeing the neathure feel differant. like it could have it's own sort of Bioms or somethig. I think they made a od where it could have other bioms but not to many. like only 2 or something. . fels like they should realy try to be more imaginitive with the Neathure if you ask me. make a sould sand dessert or a forest of freaky looking trees with another type of tree that tire to kill you if you get to close.

here`s my idea, redstone dust+glowstone dust+enderpearl+blaze powder surrounding a nether star. then you get a blue crystal that costs 5 lvls to craft THEN craft 9 of those crystals into a block, get as high as you can then put an iron bar atop it(only when weather is thunder) then lighting strikes on the iron bar so that the blue crystal block gets charged. to make weapons decraft the charged block into single crystals that then are used to make weapons. only thing i dont know is what special abilities these weapons/tools/armor should have, got any ideas?

the mirror is a great idea but i woud craft it with a pane instead of a block of glass and the sticky plate shoud slow mobs/players and when stand on it scoud be activated until the player/mob stands on it again btw great ideas

I've been thinking of ideas for redstone a lot lately. the sticky plate is a good one but I dont think it should immobilize. It should prevent jumping and slow the character to a crawl. since its a plate it should also be able to activate redstone. perfect for those traps that require someone not to move about so much. Not really sure about that sword. the fence is a great idea. Basically an electric fence. I myself have an idea to share you might like. The redstone staff. two blaze rods one redstone block[has to be hard to make cause this is an item with so many befits in combat and redstone activity. The staff fires redstone in a straight line. like fire charges. once it hits something it explodes basically like a potion dealing damage to players and mobs. hitting any redstone item with melee or ranged attacks with this staff will send a activation signal of the usual 15 block rate. so hit a line of redstone while holding the staff has the same affect as puling a leaver. these actions would deplete the weapon in the same way mining with a pickax or hitting someone with a sword will eventually break it. Hope the input helps. :)

The reason redstone fools or armor don't exist is because redstone is a powder. You would need to smelt it into solid bars somehow
