Welcome to Episode 1 of a Minecraft Create Mod SMP! It's my first playthrough amazing Minecraft mod (I'm also a newbie to modded minecraft!)
We'll be exploring the various machinery that enhances the Minecraft survival experience with our server mates and seeing what kind of contraptions we can come up with for mining and crafting!

You can upgrade backpacks to have more space if you surround them in iron, then gold, then diamond, the netherite. This also gives them more upgrade slots.

Back pack upgrades. Pit back pack in middle of crafting table then surround it with iron. Bigger pack and do the same with gold n diamonds. A magnet upgrade will pot item into ur pack for u so u don't have to pick them up.

First time here, I tend to check out Create servers but they tend to have a hard time lasting. I hope you find the information you need as you go through the mod.

In your inventory, the little icon in the upper left of the window with your character in it, just to the right of the helmet slot, opens up your Curios window, which will give you additional equipment slots for various special items. There should be a slot you can put your backpack in, so it can be visible on you while you wear actual armor.

Also, the little shirt icon at the bottom left of that same window will open cosmetic armor slots, where you can put in armor to make it *look* like you're wearing it, while getting the benefits of the armor in the regular slots. You should also be able to hide that you're wearing armor, too.

@@JaseyBee Another tip: when you have a crafting table open (this should include your backpack's crafting upgrade), if you look at a crafting recipe in JEI (that search thing on the right) there *should* be a little + button next to the recipe that you can use to move the items into the crafting grid, if you have everything you need. You should also be able to hover your mouse cursor over items in JEI and press A to add them to a favorites list on the left side of the screen.

did you know you have extra placement in your inventory and I'm not just talking about your backpack first go into you inventory then were your Character is there is 2 little icons 1 that looks like a armor and 1 that is a target click that one now you can put that backpack in the backpack slot also using the hand crank also uses hunger so you might want to consider an alternate way of powering it I'm 100% sure there are vids out there that can show you how also if you like this there are others that use create mod

Hello Fellow Humans, You guys need Curio so you can wear armor and a backpack and goggles at the same time. Also you should upgrade your backpack to make it bigger. You can make it gold pretty easily.

I really enjoyed this episode! Despite saying you're not super familiar with mods you sure have a knack for figuring things out! I think create will be a fun adventure! As an additional note: I definitely recommend upgrading the backpack itself, the extra space is well worth it. Plus, I strongly recommend the upgraded feeding upgrade! As long as you have food in the pack, you'll never have to worry about eating again! (Just make sure you set the filters, otherwise it'll feed you anything, including poisonous potatoes, spider eyes and pufferfish 😳)
