I watched it after this and then realized the rates where changed i found one while strip mining sadly it suffocated in the wall i tried saving it but i ended ut killing it faster thanks for making these detailed videos btw i wouldn't have been able to figure out what the fruits did without them nor how to get warden dragons and the abilities of the armor

Corrections: The Sakura drops the pink petals. The Solar drops gold nuggets. The Tidewing armor grants the Conduit Power buff.

Thank you! I totally forgot about the gold nuggets. And I didn't realize the Sakura drop the pedals. Must be because I'm in a cherry grove biome that I didn't even see them. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the conduit buff the same as being able to breath under water?

"Conduit Power is an area-of-effect status effect given by conduits that grants bonuses comparable to a combination of Water Breathing, Night Vision (only underwater), and Haste (only underwater)." - from the Fandom. So it is, but its more then just water breathing. Thats dope!

@@illestvilln he was just roaming in a cherry biome while I was looking for the faire dragon trader. So I assume he works like the original Wandering Trader, Where he just pops out randomly. But he's a bit harder to spot because he didn't have a dragon or anything leaded to him. It was just him.

I’ve found nightlight pretty easy! I found 4 in a cherry grove with a friend when it started to turn to night, I also had one spawn in a cave under the mooshroom island my base is in when it turned to night on our realm. I’d recommend looking for it at night time, I’m not too sure what the best biome is for it, but found it pretty easy in cherry grove :)

Hey! Idk if this helps you or important information but I found a nightlight dragon at dusk time in a savanna in a really shallow cave with running water. It was next to a savanna village but it was a cave that went nowhere with no biome. It may have something to do with water sources the same way glow squids work with cave biomes.

You said you were having trouble finding Nightlight Dragons in their designated spawn locations, right? I haven't checked those locations as of yet, but I HAVE found several of them around my base - which is situated between a snowy mountain to the South, a River & Plains Biome to the North, a flower Biome to the East, and Oak/Birch Forest to the West. There's also a Dark Oak & Mushroom Biome further West across a river, and I found 2 Nightstalkers in that very forest. Hope this info helps your list :)

The most recent patch is now live, and while it fixed the spawn rates, it also broke a lot of other things. The Nightlight spawn was changed to "caves" in general, and for some reason Minecraft doesn't recognize the Y cords with spawns, so that's why you should now see nightlights spawn in forests and other above ground biomes. There is a cave somewhere below that which is "technically" the spawn anchor for that entity. Similar to why you sometimes find things like Clang and Myth just walking around outside of caves.

One thing I'd like to add about the warden dragon. While it is true you can't tame the ones the traders have, if there is more than one trader in one deep dark biome, you can kill the trader and get shulk veins in the deep dark and breed them to get an egg out of them as a cheaper alternative to buying them

You can do that yes. But that is not intended to work that way and will most likely be fixed.

I dont know if you covered this in a newer video or not but my friend and I were testing out the Armour to figure out what they do, the only one we couldn't figure out was Zombie Armour, you said it allows you to eat raw food without the chance of poisoning but it doesn't? My friend wore the Armour and ate raw food and rotten flesh but they both still gave him their respective effects. Do you happen to know if they changed the Zombie Armour effect? Or is it like the Cobra Armour and it just lowers your chances to be poisoned by raw foods?

With the dragonfire addon how do you keep them from wrecking mob farms (spawning inside and prekilling all hostiles)and crop farms(dragons got hops).. I love flying around as a means of long distance travel but not having a crop or mob farm work is kinda killing the fun and advice would be nice

The last update was supposed to help the spawn rates and reduce the amount of blocks dragons could spawn on. However, it's not working properly. So once the hotfix is live, which should be today from what I hear, they will be able to see if its working or if it needs more tuning.

Unfortunately not at the moment. There is a patch coming this week that will decrease the overall spawn rate of the dragons. As well as allow the vender dragons to despawn or drown which will eliminate the oceans full of dragons swimming around.

So for the storm bolt dragon, do I need to use its weapon or any weapon and still get the random lighting bonus? Like can I use the warden sword and the lighting armor together health and randomly strike someone qith lighting during the day?

Your are correct yes! You can mix and match armor and weapons. As long as you're wearing the full set of armor, you don't need the corresponding weapon as well.

Strange, if anything now they actually fly well for me, before they would just fall off the sky and be unable to take flighty again for whatever reason, however now my main issue is the aiming and the attack. I genuenely can't manage to hit à target even with the cross air straight on it and even then if the target is too close to the dragon i end up blowing myself up instead

Unfortunately, no I don't believe so. There are only I think 6 that can be obtained through trading. The others are are wild spawns. They currently have the spawn rates over tuned and will be reducing them really soon. The new build has been submitted and is waiting for approval! I can pass along the suggestion though!

Yes its pruning table coding is broken. At 28:22 I go over the Nightstalker issue and a work around I've been able to use to get scales.

So unfortunately, your referring to something that is not part of this addon. The DNA and that entire mechanic is only part of the Java Mod. These are 2 different versions of the game. Same name, same dragons, but played very differently.

Edit: Some of the info I missed is as follows. - Cobra Dragon spawns in Jungles and Lush caves. - Tidewing Armor set bonus is Conduit Power, granting the user water breathing, night vision under water, and haste under water. - Sakura Dragon Drops and Eats flower pedals which can be found on the ground in Cherry Grove biome - Solar Dragon secondary item drop is Gold Nuggets. - Healing Dragons is bugged. But can be healed with Splash potions and healing arrows. Please let me know if I missed anything else!

do you know which flowers are considered “red” for the sakura dragon? I tried to feed it a poppy, rose bush, and red tulips but it didn’t eat them It only has like two hearts left so im getting desperate LOL

So after testing it is the Sakura pedals you find on the ground in a cherry grove biome. BUT feeding them wont heal them. Thats another bug I forgot to mention. Easiest way is to shoot them with healing arrows, or splash potions.

Yes, I recently learned the dev kit used to code the addons was severely limited when first designing these mods. Since then they have been slowly loosening those restrictions to allow the coders more access to the game. For example at first they weren't able to code the sword to get the flame perk to set entities on fire, they could only set blocks on fire. Hence why all the fire weapons just catch the ground under the entity on fire. In their second update they plan to do some weapon tuning to upgrade all of them to fix this issue.

not just you. Microsoft and Mojang decided to put these addon's in, then update the game to 1.20.7 which messed with a lot of the coding in the addons.

Can someone please tell me why on earth the Boulder dragon keeps spawning in my house???😭😭😭😭😭 I need help. They won't leave!! They respawn like every other second. I had a diorite floor, so I thought that was it. I replaced my floor to polished diorite because that block isn't found in caves. I've tried lighting up the room so it doesn’t register as a cave, but it doesn’t seem to be enough. These dragons only spawn in the nether and caves. So I keep thinking that maybe my house is being registered as a cave????? Please help😭😭😭😭

You're correct, but unfortunately the only way to slow down the spawns is to keep multiple entities nearby which will limit the amount of spawns within render, OR keeping your rooms only 2 blocks tall.

You don’t need to trade with one of the traders to get the dragon. If you just kill them you can then tame the dragon as it noticeably gets bigger the moment it’s traded dies.

Check the update video for the pinned comment. You'll need to use a memory dump command to reset things and that should fix it!

It's not like a normal book. Think of it as more of a tool. You'll need to L click while looking at a dragon for it to pull up the menu with the Dragon's info.

Just keep flying around those villages at night. Refresh the spawn by flying in and out of render to increase spawn chances

I just about the add-on yesterday I created a offline world, its having the same problem as the realm I can automatically mount it but can't put a saddle on it. So I can ride it but it can't fly and it won't go where I want it to I mean I hatched the Warden egg fed and tamed it still nothing.

The other add-ons im not so sure about. But the Dragonfire mod is busted ATM. The last update had some coding errors that forgot to use offline player data which is why when you leave then come back things break. Hotfix to fix that "should" be out today.

Can you not kill the dragons that aren't hostile? I have one stuck in my mineshaft and i don't know what to do about it. Its a Magus so its giant and i can't get it out 😢

No you can kill it. If you can't hit it, easy way to kill them especially if they are stuck is to dump lava on them 😅

Yes! Everything is treated as normal gear, but looks different, has free perks, and its base stats are comparable to like Iron armor.
