@@minze7463 just because you don't understand how something works doesn't mean it's fake. This run uses glitches to increase the amount of pearls the Enderman drops, and while I don't have the knowledge or expertise to explain exactly what is happening here, I can tell you that it isn't fake.

It's so easy watching this to slip into the mindset that "oh this is just a minecraft video at like 4x speed" and then having to remind yourself that, no, this is actually all in real time. Insanely impressive stuff! I do wonder though if it's at all possible to run this TAS through sometime like ReplayMod to watch it back in slow motion and from a different camera angle, but from what I can tell the world gets reloaded a good few times which might make that difficult.

11:41 I wondered if there is a way to change the placement of the grass so the run would be faster, then I remembered when Ant Venom talked about how every world technically has more than one seed, one for terrain (and I think biomes), one for structures, and one for things like trees and grass. So maybe there is a whole new way of finding the right world with the right seed(s), but I can’t imagine how long it will take to find some seeds with the absolutely perfect generation for each. Also, great TAS as usual! Can’t wait to watch it again when I’m bored.

yes, the seedfinding is VERY interesting topic. It's been a while since i watched his video, but from what i remember, the seeds he was talking about can be changed separately using only specific programm. Normally there is a total of 2^64 different seeds in minecraft. Each seed has it's own structure seed and biome seed. There is a total of different 2^48 structure seeds, and each of them has 2^16 variants, each variant having different biome seed. Structure seed is responsible for nearly all structures, nether generation and basic shape of terrain, meaning that all seeds with same structure seeds will have these features nearly the same. On the other hand we have a biome seed, which is responsible for spawn location, stronghold generation, some biome layout and details, and as i would assume grass placement too. So as you can see in vanilla minecraft it's actually impossible to change grass placement itself without changing spawn or stronghold location... and yes, for this structure seed i have checked every biome seed (not manually of course xD), however there were bigger issues then grass placement to worry about, maybe if there were more then 2^16 seeds to choose from, something better could be found... still, i love your way of thinking, good to see some clever ideas and the fact that you are looking for timesaves in such a simple thing like grass layout :)

This combined with the fact that dragon can get a lot closer to them without the crystal being destryed makes it extra deadly. I heard that in perfect setup 2 crystals are enough to kill the dragon. Still here i did slightly smaller dmg, to let the dragon land and let me hit it before dieing for the "free the end" advancement

Oh, that's how you're supposed to farm in minecraft. Man I have been doing it wrong this whole time, thank goodness for this. This is legitimately one of the most amazing TAS's i have ever seen, full stop. Just seeing you cover so much ground, complete many things, and wedge in making farmland into every moment of the second half of the run when there was ground for tilling. This was pointed out on another TAS, but if you're gonna break a diamond hoe, hitting an enemy takes away durabilty, and is still damaged when hitting during i-frames - perfect for TAS. Consider manipulating Ender Pearls' RNG to spawn an endermite on every throw, to hit with the hoe while waiting for the next pearl to land.

Before watching this I had almost no knowledge of TAS runs, and tbh some kind of arrogant disdain for the format. This run is fucking brilliant and great respect to all involved. A true testament to the incredible number of ways to play this game.

The hard thing about 1.18 is phantoms, phantoms can't spawn until like an hour and a half into the run, that's probably why he opted to do 1.12

Why on earth did the ghast just sink into the sand at 11:30

If the ghast go through portal before the portal get generated on the other side, the game will try to put in on 8 times bigger cords without actually checking what is there, in this case there was a sand hill that ghast got stuck in :)
