Heres a tip near the end if your sticky piston doesnt doesn't bring back your observer. bring the redstone into the back of the sticky piston and place a block (any thats moveable) ontop of the observer and it should be fixed

Nice design, though the funny thing is you placed it in your world, in that kitchen, you could have used a way simpler hidden staircase that just retracted blocks under those counters.

i was building this in my base, but.. i made the entire mechanism one block below the floor, so instead of being flush with the ground, it was ONE SINGULAR BLOCK too low!! ;w; I had to lower the entire floor in that part of my base to compensate for my mistake because I was NOT rebuilding that entire thing, haha

Great video! Everything works perfectly for me until the very end when I connect the final observer and the button. When I hit the button the piston and the observer move, but it doesn't effect the rest of the redstone, the block doesn't turn on/off at all.

I’m having some sorta weird glitch,I have to remove one block and replace it to get the pistons to replace the stairs Edit:nvm I fixed it,I just missed what tick it was on. And now the 3rd piston on the left from the back is broken and won’t extend,probably won’t figure out what the issue is Fixed it,again,I tick was off

So im at the last part of the build where you attach an observer to a sticky piston so when you activate the piston is pushes it into the other piston. In my case, the whole mechanism doesn't engage, what the issue am I'm having?

Great tutorial, I did it with wooden floor to not complicate it at the beginning and wanted to change to glazed terracotta, after finishing and checking that it works I changed it to terracotta and it doesn't work, and I have no idea why, changed it 4 times and with stone it works but with glazed terracotta not, and I have no idea why.
