+Mr. Doom you seem to not understand how random terrain generation works. If he were to be hired to, say, remake trees, then it would need a complete rewrite of the tree generation algorithm. Either they'd have to have it plop in one of many trees from a list of templates Grian built, or they'd have to have the trees generate in a completely different method, which, well, they wouldn't need Grian for. While, yes, Grian is a very skilled builder, no, that does not translate into being suitable Mojang employee material. That being said, there might be other skills he possesses that would cause it to be enough to qualify him, but I don't know those are right now.

It looks very strange from different angles when you are somebody who has been building for years sometimes things look bad for you but to some it looks amazing now through my eyes the top of the pine tree if you look to the left has a way oversized branch and it makes it look strange but if you are somebody who is a begginer you wouldn’t notice this and think its godly these trees are very easy to make you have to follow a specific rule for example the rule for the pine tree is to set branches in a irregular shape leaning downwards and getting smaller more the height increases since a good builder is someone who can remember the technique of some of their builds and make new creative ideas and not just copy and paste from tutorials

To also get the six sided logs, you can use the command: /fill ~ ~ ~ ~31 ~31 ~31 log 12 replace log This is just for the oak logs, but you can change the variant by changing the '12'.Also, when you execute your command, make sure to be at the least XYZ coordinates of your tree.

Every month I was doing the same.. And 1 year of practicing later here I am again! But this time I'm here to thank you grian! I finally can make trees like you do! A little tip, Spruce Trees have their branches shooting more outward and the farther up they go the more they point up. Pine and Fir trees are the ones that go down and pine trees usually have a lot of dead branches near the base whereas Fir trees are usually just fine, but dead branches have been found (my backyard is a small 1/2 acre evergreen forest basically lol).

When it comes to trees I always have some of the leaves drooping down just to make it feel much more alive, I don’t typically use vines because that thing takes ages to grow. When it comes to super large trees u see in fantasy worlds or something like that, I take a step forward and have “Vines” grasp the trunk of the tree with some wool, concrete, and some terracotta
