This is probably my favorite add-on for survival that I've tried. I almost didn't even buy it after watching the trailer initially but I was convinced when I saw a review that went over some of the mechanics. One nitpick though, I feel like the double jump is a little overpowered in its current state. I think a lot of people would disagree but imo it would be nice if it was nerfed a bit or maybe even just increase the level you need to be to unlock it.

I really enjoyed how the addon brought a refreshing new grind to the game, almost none of the skills feel OP, just a little help passively or, if it has a decent impact, you usually get a pretty chunk of cooldown to compensate, in general is greatly balanced. I have some things in mind based off of my first impressions, the first would be about The Explorer passive and it's first skill (I think is Swift Wind): the double jump being a dash forward kinda hinders the movement precision at some scenarios, and I disabled it in the options because of that... But the passive only affects this hability, so progressing through each level will not make a difference until I reach out the ones that unlock other skills. A suggestion would be to add an effect similar to the Farm or Fighter skills, that is a low percentage of something useful that builds up a little besides the double jump buff And about the Swift Wind: a common and free addon is the Hiker's one, which brings a stick that gives the player a movement and a high jump already, without any cooldown. It would be great if you could change it to be like a speed potion, something more powerful, balancing the way you feel it fits better. I think the last think that I wanted to point it out is that, after reading The Fighter skills and testing out the first one (Blood Drainer I think), I feel like this one should be at least the second to unlock, because it seems like its the best one by far. One of the best addons, it is actually well thought and doesn't feel like its stealing the vanilla experience at all!

Please add an option to disable the frame that shows the leveling progress. having it show the entire time while mining or farming is really annoying. I like the option for explorer but it should be toggleable for them all

This addon content is very good in all aspects, except that the double jump is very annoying.first problem I was going to jump back to avoid an creeper explosion .It will accidentally trigger the double jump. And jump to the front.The second problem is every time you double jump will be taking fall damage

I have an idea, if you like. What if for every time you increase the level in a skill branch, for example, "explorer", it gives you +1 point, and if you increase the level of the "fighter" or "archer" skill, it gives you another point, which accumulates. When you have 20 points you can buy with 20 levels of experience, the effect of "healt_boost" level 1 permanently, without losing it even if you die. When you have 40 points, you can buy "healt_boost" level 2, at 25 experience levels. When you have 60 points, "healt_boost" level 3, at 30 levels of experience and so on until you reach maximum "healt_boost" level 5. What do you think?

You don't gain exp in the lumberjack category from cutting down custom trees like the ones found in the Nature add on, and also killing the horror mobs in the Horror Survival doesn't grant exp in the fighter category as well. Will this be looked into to hopefully make the addon more compatible with other add-ons?

Podcrash! Loving the add on you made! Some feedback, some more skills like MCMMO had back in the day. Some of skills need experience adjustments hunting, blastmaster, fighting, pyromaniac, they are all my lowest levels since the ways of getting the xp is hard. Other than that it’s a great add on and I’m getting my friends to pick it up as well!

i have this addon in a server i play on and its my current favorite addon ever. in the book given, everyone can use the settings, hide the book from announcing the players level when they get to the certain level with a skill and more as well.

tree feller isnt activating for a friend while gathering wood for us, specifically dark oak. they active the ability, it makes the sound, but nothing happens. thye still cut the tree normally. are we missing something?

why does the archer skill not work when crouching or right clicking with a crossbow. also imo the hunting one should be while holding any kind of meat. having it be feathers, leather, or shears is kinda just taking up a inventory space

Unfortunately not. There's no system to allow for add-ons to be compatible out of the box. However, all Podcrash add-ons aim to be compatible with each other, for example FARMING and RPG Skills are 100% compatible, farming our crops will level up your Farming ability.

It works with crimson and warped, and mangrove is only the wood, not the roots, as we think the roots are not something you'd necessarily "chop down" when discussing cutting down a tree. (thinking as an in-real world type situation)

Hey, I am using your addon in a realm. I have high levels in almost all skills. But, I am having a problem where my skills, passives, and abilities aren't working. My double jump is extremely weak or non existent. My TNT Boost just blows up and does nothing. When I look at mobs with Kaboom it does 1 damage. Etc. I have all the abilities maxed out yet everything is either weak or not working properly. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

@Podcrash Hi, I am a level 51 Explorer, the double jump passive is not working. I've tried turning it on and off. I am a level 30 blast master. However, none of my abilities are working despite me leveling them up to max level. Kaboom does 1 hp damage, Blast Shield barely moves any mobs, and TNT Boost just blows up and doesn't send me flying. I am level 89 in fighting and have all abilities maxed out. But Horde Crush does not spread damage across 5 blocks I only see 1 spike under the mob I hit. Those are just some of the ones I tried right now. I play on a realm. I've tried leaving and joining. Turning them off and on. Different platforms, nothing. Yet for other players on my realm the abilities are working as intended.
