I heard Notch didn't like the torches working in hand, because it was hard on the FPS. I think it's okay now days tho and it looks great. Also, last I read the mod it does NOT affect spawning rates. It's client side only.

Love it. And I will play it myself. Oh and Beef.....u can eat almost everything like the bambooshots. For the appletree you have to wait for the apples to be ripe. They glister a bit when they are and you have to right klick them so the appletree can grow another appel.

There is nothing more in minecraft I like than just old survival adventure and listening to the default music in the background. I feel like the true enjoyment of minecraft is ruined once you get op armor and automate things. The fresh nature is good enough! :)

kalevader Recording eats up a lot of CPU power so I'm guessing he has a really nice i7. Don't know why you need 3-way SLI with 680s though that's overkill unless he has multiple monitors which he might.

Also Beef, I'd recommend checking out some other shaders for ease of KZbin, the darkness is way too dark for the screen. I love shaders, but this one is a bit extreme on the light and dark.

I love playing this modpack with Improved first person and smart moving mods too! Playing it without the HUD (f1 mode) makes the game feel so much more alive.
