I think the Magmammoth has the most chance to get into modern, official minecraft. Only because, while the Bully is a great adition, I can't see it fitting in with everything, and can imagine that many would just avoid it. And for the End Stalker, Minecraft has never been a story driven game. Adding a singular man with an in-depth backstory would break the formula set up. Also, for his staff, I feel that while cool, it doesn't exactly fit with vanilla minecraft and feels more like a mod. The Magmammoth, however, has the bonus of mobility with inventory, while having a fun and different taming method. The lava spewing would be toned down a tad, but it is the one with the most promise for official minecraft.

How has Minecraft never been a story-driven game? Sure, it's a sandbox, but with the full context of this point, Minecraft has so much lore with so many different things, such as the illagers, warden, or endermen. Having a mob with its own lore (that could also tie in with others) wouldn't be a factor that takes away from Minecraft's 'theme'

@@4rdency Yes, but it never makes you find any of that, and much lore is still up to theory with people like Game Theory filling in the blanks, of which there are many. This means that much of this lore is up for speculation. Minecraft is primarily an adventuring game, made to have the player explore and have fun. The lore is there as a secondary subject. Take for instance beating the Ender Dragon; it has massive lore implications and, being the end of the game, means a close on the story. However, many people don't actually beat the ender dragon, and therefore no true close to the story. The biggest problem I have with the mob in the End, is that it seems too heavily fantasy-based compared to other Minecraft mobs. I know, the Warden, The Creaking, and Phantoms etc. are also heavily fantasy based, but this new mob we're discussing seems more to me like a fantasy RPG game npc than a minecraft mob. Think of it. Carries a mystical staff of the likes none have ever seen, boasts a mysterious past, has an item that does something only relating to what it does, and you meet it on your journey and can help it or kill it. It's loose, but still. Also, when talking about the mob, he refers to it as a singular. One mob. Presumably in the whole minecraft world. Now, maybe after acquiring its no teleporting potion it allows you to brew it, which would be a reason to go after it. But still. It is one entity. Singular. All other minecraft mobs can be respawned, or have multiple of themselves. However, the way he worded it when talking about the mob makes me believe that this is not the case for that particular being. Also, his staff, while it would be fun to use, as I've already stated in my original comment, feels too much like a mod to be a real item. That is why I don't think the mob would fit into the game. I believe minecraft relies on its adventurous aspect before lore, and pushing this mobs lore front and centre seems wrong to me.

@@4rdency well technically yes but no Minecraft dosn't have a particular canon lore. The thing is that this game encourages the creativity, including your actual version it's story. Ofc i see people creating theories about Minecraft and stuff but i feel like everyone is searching instead of creating. But still, it's just a feeling tho

I'm fairly certain Archie doesn't own the models/textures/code for these mobs. He's simply showcasing them. The actual coder has his their own discord where They showcase the progress they've made. The mobs in his last video were in development long before Archie ever posted that video.

I like how the 3 mobs you created can fit the 3 types of common players you'd find in Minecraft. Those that just want to play around (Bully), those that want to build (Magmamoth) and those that want to PvP (Ender Hunter) Each even seems like it could hint to other mechanics the mob could bring with it, such as the End Hunter's potions. The Magmammoth is very interesting, having adaptations for the heat rather than the cold like the woolly mammoth, subtle opposites. Also has a lack of memory is another subtle contrast to its irl relatives, since an elephant never forgets!

just a thought, but if anything like the troll were ever added to the game, the focus would totally shift to that. imagine a mob that steals your stuff, takes forever to give it back, then follows you everywhere? it’d go from minecraft to “feed the troll” real fast. not sure i’m explaining myself as clearly as i’d like (kinda tired rn), but the concept is just too big for something it to be added to the actual game. but it’s amazing and super fun, and a GREAT mod!!

I’m so happy mob votes don’t exist it feels fresh not having them anymore.. now it feels kinda like Minecraft again besides all the new texture updates. And none of the mobs even fitted in the video they just felt so over exaggerated. The mobs just keep getting bigger and more ridiculous.. a mob like the moon bloom or iceolger would be Amazing! Even ambient sounds, tiles, different colored torches, and maybe a blueprint table!.. to help build big detailed bases for players who struggle, it lets you place ghost blocks to see how a building looks before actually making it and doing tweaks to it later shit like this is what we need :)💯not this shit !

Suggestion for the magmamoth, instead of feeding it crimson fungus you can feed it magma cream to replace the lava it has lost. Another suggestion is that at low temperature levels it moves slower and attacks with less damage but is very docile. This if players want a fast and powerful mount they have to be careful with how much magma cream they feed it on the go or it could turn on them.

@ another benefit of that could be that you could also use magma blocks, which are more efficient at raising the temperature so you don’t have to carry too many, but also carries a higher risk of making them going berserk.
