After playing with this for a few days, it's either the enemy dies in a minute or until armor breaks, definitely would recommend messing around with this

fun fact: this isn't the best armor damage you can get, as your armor isn't invincible while you are, which means that with just spamming with a strenght 2 potion you can do almost 12 damage per second to the armor, although you don't do as much damage to the player, put a shield in the second hand to cover from attacks and cobwebs in the first hand to trap them, at the start they will wonder what the fuck are you doing, then they look at their armor and it's already half way broken. I discovered this with a pufferfish trap i was doing, in bedrock it's an instakill, but when i tried it out in java it broke my netherite armor in seconds (it was like 50 pufferfish in a tiny spot but with enough space to avoid entity cramming) so if you use this strat and use another way to avoid damage like turtle master potions you'll make your opponent lose all of his resources, but it's obviously a long term strat and you need to stay alive. it was way better in the combat test snapshots when you had the chance to use the hoe with max range

Typically if someone sees you spamming sword/axe in a web they’d try and bow spam you. And if you bow spam back it ends in bow spam battle 💀

Just crit without a sword tbh most the damage is coming from the arrows which can be blocked with a shield then u just tank axe hits atleast with a sword you can midi gate damage to yourself via distance

Most of the damage does cone from the arrows but axes do contribute! You can’t block the arrows because the axe disables the shield. The playstyle is about distancing with the arrows and dealing extra armor and regular damage with the axe to prevent the opponent from swording

@@KairyuYT the thing is you shoot and hit at diffrent times and since there’s a long delay in axes you would be able to block the arrow then just knock the shooter out the way since they’re in the air. And just disabling shield and stun locking the opponent with sword prevents them from doing this

Spamming arrows is optimal but it get's harder when your opponent gets closer as when they hit you your arrow trajectory is messed up and you might miss more. Otherwise Y E S

how well does this strat work for just draining armor damage with regular arrows where insta II is banned

You can use regular arrows to reposition/set up your opponent for the axe hit, it just won't do that extra amount of damage. If you're purely playing drain use kb 2 and punch 2 😁
