I Gave 100 Reasons Minecraft Bedrock Edition SUCKS. Bedrock Edition has many problems, and this video went through it all: The Marketplace, Bedrock PvP, Bedrock Servers, and more. Hopefully Mojang can fix these problems with Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

UHC has always been in bedrock. Zeqa has not only had buildUHC, but caveUHC, finalUHC, and more. For render dragon, basic shaders no longer work unless you have 3rd party devices or use a crappy knock off shader. PS4/5 allows you to join featured servers while switch and xbox don’t. that’s all i found

the new marketplace pass is a cheaper option for people who want the benefits of realms but don’t care about realms. Realms- is like 7.99 or something , you get a realm with 10 ppl at once, and access to many maps and skins, they’re rotated every so often so you get a variety or new things to try (iirc). the Pass- is like a fiver, you get access to many maps and skins. again, they’re rotated every so often so you get a variety or new things to try (iirc).

for me, tabbing out on PC is something I would do a LOT on bedrock, but it just forces you not to, and every time I forget and I log off it makes my blood boil. There is also one glitch that specifically affects me and my brother whenever we play that stops certain people or different devices from being able to join your world for months or YEARS. Me and my friend have only been able to join each other recently after 3 years of trying. Bedrock bugs and differences are so stupid, and all these points are so true to me

There are very few good features that Java has, but Bedrock doesn't, and Bedrock has a lot of things that compensate that.

"Compensate" is a strong word - I would say that makes it somewhat tolerable (crossplay, performance, multiplatform, minor features such as tipped arrows, ...). The big features are still java only (complete mods/modpacks, worlds not corrupting in larger file sizes, offhand, keyboard shortcuts, lower input latency, ...). If mojang wants "parity" between the versions of the game, there is still quite a lot of work to be done.

​@@AT-32 Crossplay is weird, it ruins PVP servers because of how different skills of every player are in compare to java and console edition where all players are equal, and stop saying that performance is good, that's not the case anymore since 2020! Performance is bad since 1.16.200 on x64 PC's and on every single other platform since 1.18.30, when I said things that compensate that I meant animations, UI, and all other graphical things that make game feel more natural and more comfortable and enjoyable to play in compare to java, mods are on bedrock but still this is dumb to say that java is better than bedrock just because it has mod, it's just unfair to compare them, that's like compare player with wooden sword and player with full enchanted netherite and golden apple and totems of undying, literally exact same thing, I personally never had world corruption, I don't use offhand on java for anything except fireworks and torches it's just annoying how much screen space item takes, and resource packs that make offhand items smaller are just ugly and still disturbing, I have no problem with switching slots, keyboard shortcuts should be definitely added they are very handy but not like it's very important just a nice QoL feature, input latency is literally performance related it didn't exist before 1.16.200 on x64 PC's and since 1.18.30 on every other platform.

What I hate the most about bedrocks horrible offhand system is in a video where Minecraft answered questions from the community, one of the questions was when they will add the better offhand to bedrock. They played it off AS A JOKE basically saying “why do you need that anyway? Do you want to hold a flower in your offhand when you’re fighting mobs?” These weren’t their exact words, but I remember dying inside after hearing this a couple years ago :-/

3 things you forgot 1: you can’t see what’s in the offhand. there’s no hot bar slot for it 2: (at least on controller) sometimes you can drop an item, but it stays in your inventory but it’s not actually there 3: in a normal world, your sprinting stops when you hit something. so on controller and mobile fighting a PC player is impossible

You can still do single biome flatworld and amplified world options on Editions, which you can do by just loading it up in Bedrock. Create a single biome flatworld using whatever biome you want, pick one with villages, you can even adjust villages and other biome structures and how often they occur by spacing, vegitation, even block layers and how thick they are so you can actually decide trees or no trees, what the soil layers are like, all that. Then just save it, go back to your updated version, check the bottom of your map list for Editions maps. Click on it to update it to the newer version and it will even get the new cave biomes under it with the bedrock level extension from 0 to -64. You now have a single biome flatworld with cave biomes under it on bedrock. Unfortunately you cat really have a "newer" flatworld map with villages AND no caves doing it this way, but having underground resources does make flatworld survival easier. I dabbled with this quite a bit in an attempt to create a hostile mars-like world using a badlands biome with custom soil and rock layers to make mining more difficult, simulating the denser rock and red sand appearance. Unfortunately i couldn't get rid of the rabbits without a repeating kill command in a command box with a tickingarea around it. The Lush cave biomes lended some reprieve from the hostile surface I'd created. And the ancient cities oddly fit in. Like ruins of a civilization that fled the planet long before humanity showed up.

There’s the character creator for a reason. It lets you have up to 5 skins and easily switch between them. You can also store images to quickly load up skins. And there ARE some packs that make it easier to change your perspective, but I still agree that mobile players should need to install a resource pack when there is one button to do it on PC and Console.

My worlds would corrupt so often, to the point that I thought someone at microsoft was targeting me and somehow corrupting my worlds. the spam clicking problem has always been a problem with any version of minecraft the reason is that you are using durability to take an action like hit an entity, even if it is in its i-frame stage and thats how the old system slowed you down, is i-frames, i-frames were a normally unknown band-aid fix in-line with the new combat system, it was a warning to people that combat would change, but people didnt bother to look into it or cover it, because lag usually made it so that people werent able to experience them anyways

10:33 worth noting the reason for this is loading crossbows. The only way to load a rocket in a crossbow is to hold it in the offhand, so they let you offhand the rockets. Also worth noting that unfortunately there’s no hotkey for this, but considering how few items can be held in the offhand I don’t think that’s much of a problem for bedrock players

Back in my console days, in my survival servers, there was a bug when I wore elytra. Even when I wasn't flying with them (I just had them on while walking on the ground) I was one block tall so only my feet were solid. My head could go through anything, even though it looked like I was 2 blocks tall to other players. This did cause a visual bug when I went through blocks where my screen turned black momentarily, but it was actually pretty handy for trapping villagers, rerolling their trades, and then escaping without them able to escape too.

Here are my gripes with my years of both Bedrock and Switch edition: Skeleton and Trident drowned fire at the first frame they have line of sight. You know how they have delays between each shot? Well in Java the delay is paused when they don’t have LoS to keep them from firing before the player can see them. That pause isn’t in bedrock. When eating apples specifically, your movement speed isn’t slowed sometimes. You cannot disable skin packs that you own, meaning that you may have to waste time and RAM scrolling past a billion skins that you never wanted

a common bug on mc:pe is if youre using a controller, your L2 button will just stop working. so you can't eat, place blocks, open doors, use a crafting table without hitting the L2 tab immediately. you can "fix" it by changing which button does what your L2 does, but the only permanent fix has been to just use a new controller. when it happens, your L2 is on a hairpin trigger. it can still be used, but you need to be super specific with how much pressure you put on it. if not, it wont count as a command or it'll be counted as 2 very fast imputs

with regards to sneak toggle, sprint toggle, and captions, it is pretty pathetic bedrock doesn't have them and i feel for all the disabled bedrock players missing out on such useful features. and even abled players, i know sneak toggle is super useful for skyblock.

For #94 i recomend turning your device off to quit without saving because it just takes a while for your console to boot up. You can also use this to do savescumming which is before you die you go to your last save which i did when i fought the wither in my world on the nintendo switch (it broke so many blocks the lag was real it destroyed an entire chunk as well i think if the wither can mess with my game i can)

Shielding by crouching is actually a huge advantage and I don't see why people want Java's right-click-to-Shield mechanic. In Bedrock you can Shield at any time you want no matter the circumstances. In Java, you have to make sure no usable item (block, potion, food, bow, trident, etc.) is in your mainhand, and if there IS, you must not be looking at a block. It's an awful mechanic and I'm glad they changed it to Bedrock's version in the Combat Snapshots (rest in peace I hope they return soon)

something that infuriates me is you can put potions into cauldrons and make tipped arrows out of them on bedrock, but not on java. it's such a useful feature and great decoration too. there are also no mods that bring this feature to java.

​@@Alexei_xyzThe reason is for the drowneds, they hold nautilus shells in their offhand when they spawn with them. I assume it just uses the same system the player uses, so anything a player can hold in their offhand, a drowned is also limited to those items.

I personally like that the Bedrock wither fight is harder than Java's. The Java wither is pretty much an NPC and easily cheesed (without using an actual cheese like end portal/bedrock trapping. The Bedrock wither got nerfed damage-wise, but it is a well-designed boss imo, unlike the Java wither. I don't know too many differences between the enderdragons other than that the Java one flings you up high for an MLG challenge, and one-cycling with beds is different, but I wouldn't say one is better or worse (although I haven't fought the Java enderdragon in a while).

One small thing that I can never unsee is how jank the character looks in the inventory. It looks like it pivots in the middle instead of by the feet, which makes the character look goofy when moving the cursor around.

I use an XBox controller on PC (Java, with manual mapping) & it's simple: Right trigger uses right hand with primary (hit, break blocks) function, left trigger uses left hand with secondary (place block, eat, interact) function. Example: Torch in left hand, pickaxe in right. Left trigger places torches, right trigger mines blocks.

The older versions of bedrock edition will not take you out of the world/server when you minimise the game, even if your host the clients are able to play while you tab out and now it's gone. Also when a player rides a horse it used to blocking height used to be 3 but somehow it's 2 now and you will suffocate of you go in a cave with 2 block height with horses.

I came back to playing on my XBone after a long lapse (4+ years) and couldn't figure out where all of the functionality went. FPS: Trash Skins: Almost all gone (like 7 packs probably) Texture Pack: Stuck on Chroma Hills (the last pack I was using) the other 4 or so: gone Multiplayer: Errors, can't play on a server (not that I ever did, but I wanted to show my world off someday). Sometimes I can't interact with anything, eat, etc. for MINUTES until the game saves, then it flashes through the chests, blocks I placed dissappear, and I can act on the world again. You go to the Nether and a Ghast blows you up while you're still loading in. WHAT THE F HAPPENED?! I did just want to keep playing with my old world (I've spent a zillion hours building in survival and just got the itch to keep building my tower to the moon since the height was increased).

you can still play multiplayer on Java for free, granted you gotta download a mod for it (called essential) and it lets you create a friend list then invite your friends to play on your world seamlessly, the author of the mod also made it super easy to instal it.

I've only played bedrock and I've only had the shield glitch. I understand a lot of these like later updates, weird settings, no hotkeys, etc but the right clicking for shield, the subtitles menu, and the f3 menu wouldn't work on bedrock because most bedrock players play the game on a small screen so adding them would just make playing on the main way people play bedrock a lot more clunky. Btw, to change your gamemode you can just go into the settings, change gamemode, then leave the settings to even have creative on a world you need cheats enabled so the settings menu has an easy way to change gamemodes.

You're right. The most annoying part is that some servers on bedrock cross platform on java, so when it's a bedrock player vs a java player. A java player can have a golden apple when playing pvp which makes them not able to switch tabs, but with bedrock players on the other hand, they'll have to switch tabs to eat an golden apple which takes alot more time. This isn't fair, and the developers of the game should really consider expanding off-hand for items on bedrock. This could have so much potential.

13:55 Throughout my time playing Bedrock Edition (I prefer Java edition) there was something similar to this that I used to experience, but unsure if anyone else did Essentially it's kind of the opposite of Mob Spawning, where Mobs, whether they're passive, neutral or hostile would just randomly despawn. For a personal example, I remember building my house next to a village (and usually on Java Edition, Villagers would never despawn, not even the iron golem) yet for some reason on Bedrock edition. All the villagers and mobs around the village would just despawn, for no reason. The only mobs that would remain would of course be my tamed cats and wolves. Has anyone else experience this Bedrock edition?

I have definitely experienced this glitch, I remember playing on one of my friends worlds and we built a sky base and we could just see passive mobs on the ground constantly appearing and disappearing

villagers don't disappear but all other mobs do. i remember seeing a pillager and i was going to attack him for bad omen but i went to get some other stuff and he just despawned within minutes.
