I see many redstone creations that needs to have a manual objective adding but here's a tip: you can put the command block with the objective command on a clock. The objective will be added only once, after that in the commandblock "previous output" will appear the message "this objective already exist".

Hey Log! We also made a vanilla mod! In only *one command* ofcourse! (*Over 30 000 Characters!*) It are *paintball guns*, that can dye any block! And with that I don't mean that it replaces it for clay or anything, no it actually *dyes the block* keeping the texture but adding a color! Hope you like it :)! ~Team Wooloo!

You can do /gamerule doDaylightCycle false if you don't want it to become night, however you can still use the /time set night command, i hope i helper you out :)

Now, I don't know anything about Command Blocks, so I'm wondering if someone can explain something to me really quick. If using one command in one command block can spawn one of these big Command Block contraptions, is it accurate to say that anything I can do with a billion Command Blocks, I can also do with one Command Block that just spawns all the rest? I'm just wondering about this because that's what these videos make me think of. I always find myself thinking, it's not really a true "One Command Block," it's more like "One Command Block that spawns a ton more that actually do this."

Well sadly a huge drawback is command blocks only have a 32k character limit, until this is increased its only small things like this.

rocksword Well, it all depends on if/what commands they have in them. Raw command blocks wont take up necessary amount and you can have about 320 of them. I'll do some testing now.

You can't make much with only one command block. It's one command, but tons of command blocks. Again, command blocks have a 32768 character limit, so the total number of characters in the commands (plus a ton of padding to actually define them) cannot exceed 32768.

Freezing mobs is actually really simple, all you have to do is type '/entitydata @e[type=!Player]{NoAI:true}' and all mobs will freeze!

I'm interested in the hundreds of possibilities that can be done in the 1.8 update and I'm beginning to work with it yet there is one thing I need to know. Let's say for example I want to program a command block that summons in a lightning bolt 10 blocks in front of me. I know to use "/summon LightningBolt ~ ~ ~10" but how do I program it to summon the bolt 10 blocks in front of the user? Or 10 blocks in front of all players? I tried /summon @a LightningBolt ~ ~ ~10 but it doesn't work and I've been researching yet found nothing. Help?
