For anyone wondering why they get hit even though they have their shield up: For some reason Mojang made it so shields have a 0.5 second delay from when you put it up, to when it becomes effective. So basically you dont instantly put your shield up, you put it up 0.5 seconds after.

YelloWool, you should do a Manhunt video where the twist is is that it has realistic combat. There’s a few mods that are very popular because of how good they are at creating realistic combat in Minecraft so you wouldn’t even really have that much work to do with setting everything up. I think that it would be pretty funny to do because if your hunters don’t know about the mod at all they’ll try to use a regular shield in the game at the start and not even realize that the mod practically disables normal Minecraft shield when it comes to trying to actually use them to block attacks. Also it wouldn’t be completely unfair since your hunters would also be able to use the twist as well. The only thing that would be unfair for your hunters though would be them not knowing how the different attacks and skills in the mod work.

Fun fact: If you want to know, how long exactly you need to wait for a weapon to recharge, simply divide 1 by the Attack Speed value. So for the sword that would be 1/1.6=0.625 and that's how many seconds you need to wait.

How about Minecraft Manhunt but repairing is OP? If you repair a tool in an anvil it'll get a level 10 enchantment. Like Efficiency, Sharpness, or Fortune. And since it's an anvil these OP enchants can be stacked.

to be fair, hoes outrange swords and fists, so they can actually be useful for pvp if you can keep players at a good distance away from you (similar to using a sword over an axe when they don't shield), it's just they can't have sharpness normally. Still, they are super useful now, for pvp and for mining certain blocks.

Idea: Minecraft Manhunt, But Its Too Good To Be True Concept: Every time you crouch, something good happens to the hunters but something great happens to you. The hunters would think they're getting benefited as well and lured into a sense like "they got this" but as soon as you get to the end, the crystals are already destroyed and the dragon is a few hits away.
