@electricheartpony I agree scar is up there on the list and as far as grinding for diamonds and actual detail to his builds absolutely, but I still have doc as the biggest grinder, I watch both of there videos and the farms and different things doc has done this season are already insane like having almost a hundred wardens as pets for mob cap at his tunnel boar

3:05, item frames cause an insane amount of lag, especially when used in hermitcraft. It started becoming an issue i think around season 4/5ish and it became a spoken rule to heavily limit the number of item frames used.

item frames cause lag so signs are preferred. Blake actually COOKed that course for a new flyer. i saw the length of the video and knew they weren't getting even close to exploring the whole thing. Lets get a part 5!

Can't wait for them to see Grian's base and the Grumbot cave, the Perimetre, Decked Out II and the soup trio's bases! Whilst not my favourite season (Very close second to S7 though), Season 9 definitely had by far the most impressive and jaw-dropping gigaprojects of ANY Hermitcraft season, and maybe even any single season of *ANY* SMP too! Everyone really outdid themselves.

You will see some amazing things in Season 9's world download, but Scarland just has a magic that only Scar knows the secrets to. He brought forth every drop of artistry he could muster and poured it all into this. His passion for both Disney and building beautiful things intersected in a profound way and I feel that one of the reasons this season was so long is that the other hermits knew that this would be a special project for Scar and that it would take a long time, but very much be worth it. And you know what? It was.

I just rediscovered you guys after watching you react to season 8 builds a while back. Season 9 was when I personally really started to get into Hermitcraft, so this was so fun to watch. I actually watched Scar's POV from beginning to end, so the development of Scarland was something I loved experiencing. I'm so glad y'all are taking your time in appreciating it all. Love seeing people react to the Hermitcraft world downloads and I look forward to part two! The guy who said he wanted to check out BDubs's videos should definitely start with the current season of Building with BDubs. Its his singleplayer survival world, so its a lot more laid back and focused on building up his own little world as opposed to the fast paced energy of the Hermitcraft server. He has some stunning builds on there as well.

Item frames are a lot laggier then signs. Because there are so many Hermits if everyone used an item frame on every chest of their storage systems it would lag out the server.

Season 9 was, by far, the best season EVER! Scarland was amazing! So was Docs perimeter. But the spotlight just has to be on TangoTek and Decked Out 2. I still go back and rewatch the Hermits (and Empire guests) making their 1st runs. And poor Gem trying to get a key out of the game!
