My nephew asked if he could play Minecraft with me the other day. He didn’t have the game, so I gave him my chip to but in his switch so he could play it while I was playing something else. Now, he’s little, so short attention span, so when the game asked me if I wanted to update I decided not to, that I would do it later. I thought the update might just be the armadillo or something, but I was wrong. It opened up one of the first versions of Minecraft. The nostalgia felt so unreal, I almost cried. With all of the original textures, mobs, old seeds, everything. Minecraft has changed so much, it just felt so good to finally experience that again.

Old glowstone made me feel something i didn’t know was possible. Me and my cousin and little brother used to build the UGLIEST glowstone mansions. Sometimes we’d add bricks as accent blocks. I like that about the old ore textures. Yes, it confused colorblind people, and people with bad eyesight, but it also made it harder to tell if what you're looking at was coal, Lapis, Emeralds, or Diamonds.

I almost cried of nostalgia..... I like the new Minecraft because of the things we can create.... But i miss the old times, i remember the first time i found diamonds in survival the textures have imprinted in my brain, it hits different seeing how they all used to look😢❤

The old village in the background is awesome, ive played minecraft since i was 4 years old and it was the first game i ever played. I still remember the addition of cats, woodland mansion/pillager outposts, and even netherite, minecraft is a game that will never get old, and will always feel new.
