in like 2013, the bane of pigs worked differently as to get past damage caps on mobs. it used to do only 50 damage, but it hit around 1000 times with one click, so that instead of doing just 5000000 damage, which can be blocked with a damage cap, it did 50 damage 1000 times, so no damage cap could prevent it.

You need 386 diamonds to craft all of the diamond blocks needed to craft that Number #1 sword. That takes up 7 slots, or 6 full stacks and one stack of 2 diamonds.

With all of the modern lucky block mods some of these weapons are completely surpassed like with the one that does infinite damage (though there is a computer limit on how powerful the weapon can be I think like the 32 bit integer)

My sword would be called the diamond staff sword. It would do 325 attack damage and if u right click and pull black like a bow then let go, it would should an explosive cell which would do 100 attack damage and it would set enemies on fire! And if u press F it would give you strength 100 and in your hand it can make you fly! Like if u like this sword!
