So theres a glitched hidden mob in minecraft pe or be 1.16 version. this glitched hidden mob is a wolf and this wolf thing... is not tamed or is NOT tamed, meaning this wolf is in a weird state. you cant even tame this wolf with using the bone. so this minecraft pe 1.16's hidden mob is really... interesting. you can summon this glitched wolf with just one command.

In one of my old super flat worlds in PE one of my tamed dogs suddenly turned red for some reason. I didn't do anything. He was like a normal tamed dog and would defend me but if he saw a sheep he still attacked. To this day I still don't know how this happened.

yeah that happened to me like 6 years ago when i had a wolf that was mad with "red eyes" and fed it a bone in creative mode then it turned pure red. and then when i saved the game and reloaded it the next day i was in the void but there was no blocks anywhere. (i think the file got corrupted)

it's a glitch, I remember it, On the older versions of Minecraft PE me and my friends used to Play together and If you tame a wolf, and leave the game ( we played on LAN ) , The wolf got untamed, and turned to the colour of the collar ( usually red ) and would turn back to normal if the owner joined back.

Thing is I encountered this back in 1.14&15 And for some reason. The wolf only glitched into red when it was mad after I tamed it already in pure survival. It even showed his wild mad wolf face but for some reason the wolf would turn fully red and attack much more VICIOUSLY than the other few. It was odd.

Well, actually they are corrupted dogs. Dogs with no ownership. They do not even belong to the owner of the world, simply just untamable due to its tamed status. The color is based on the dog’s collar, so that is some evidence. Also, when it attacks it does not show an angry face, therefore making it a dog since dogs retain their sprite when angered. As a soon-to-be C++ user, this becomes easier to understand.

Part of the glitch is “on_tamed” which is basically “tamed_on” which means it’s tamed. But it’s not. And you can’t tame something you already tamed. Even if you haven’t tamed it yet.

Me and my friend were playing mcpe a few years ago, we had a few wolves, and the game updated. For some reason the wolves became fully colored and we could do everything with the colored wolves like if they were normal. It was weird

The reason for this is because you summon a wolf that is tame by another entity. But since no owner is attached it will be glitched just like summoning a player mob.

I know the reason for this, back in 1.14 this was a thing, but the colors weren't glitched at all. The reason for it not following the player even if it's on the on_tamed state is because it has no tag connected to the player. Tamed dogs know who to follow in multiplayer because when you tame a wolf, a tag is added to the wolf that connects it to the player who tamed it, so it knows that it needs to follow the player. However, the /summon command doesn't add that tag to the player who summoned it, so the dog is technically tamed but it will not follow any player around

Actually, it is a tamed wolf. The error here is that the dog has no OWNER ID, which breaks it in such a way that it is a semi-wolf dog.

According to some ppl apparently it can happen if the world gets corrupted and the dog loads in a corrupted chunk, because of that, it loses its owner id and becomes glitched making a semi-wolf dog. And the color depends on the color of the collar. Blue collar=blue color Red collar=red color. So it still has some properties from before.
