MINECRAFT PHASMOPHOBIA is BACK and it's Even More Terrifying

In this video we play MINECRAFT PHASMOPHOBIA! This is a mod for Minecraft that adds ghosts and ghost hunting items to minecraft and it's so much more impressive than I ever thought. If you play with optifine and turn on dynamic lights you actually get the flashlight to act like a real flashlight in your hand (kindof), but it still gets very dark without it. which is a bit weird, but it kinda looks like phasmo to be honest.

Just wanted to point out a couple things you seemed to miss: The D.O.T.S projector isn't as useless as it seems. The particles it emits is the range it can detect a ghost, and if a ghost is in that range, it appears as small smoke particles. You can use this to find the ghost's spawn point and/or track where it goes. (Something I've found playing: If the ghost is a Nocturn, it cannot appear on D.O.T.S if you haven't woken it up. It also cannot move. EDIT: Apparently the creator never coded the DOTS feature, so disregard that for right now. Working on testing it, but the game won't give me another Nocturn.) Ghost orbs seem to spawn on the block the ghost spawns. If you can figure out the spawn of the ghost or orb, you know the spawn of the other. (Though, that Prison run was weird, with how the orbs moved. Maybe you saw wrong?) I believe manifestations happen where the ghost IS at that time, but I could be wrong. Those random EMF 3's you get shows the ghost is within one block (or meter) of you. EMF 4's show the ghost is getting angrier, and EMF 5 is shown if it's very angry, and if the ghost has EMF 5 as evidence. Nightmare mode has a couple gimmicks. You noticed you spawn with 0 sanity, but you can get that sanity back. However, that sanity is drained at 1 sanity per second. Also, that camera pull is not a bug, that's Nightmare mode exclusive (seems to be an interaction across all ghosts). I'd recommend buying more items so a) you don't need to go on a scavenger hunt to find your EMF and b) more books and cameras. Doors also seem to play a good part in hiding from a ghost while it's hunting. The Wraith (fact check me on that) has an ability that allows it to break down three doors per hunt. So it's wise to put distance AND closed doors between you and the ghost. Most ghosts just seem to refuse touching doors at all during a hunt, though. Fingerprints can happen if a ghost walks past a door. I've found opening doors can "trick" the ghost into walking outside the room, and pass the door, increasing your chances of getting fingerprints. I'd also recommend using Spirit Box about ten times or so before you rule it out. Some ghosts just refuse to talk to you. The Items book in a contract or PDF on the website gives more info on the items you can bring. I think that's all... Sorry about that info dump! Hope it helps.

I thought about two new ghosts that I think would be very cool... 1º The boogeyman: It would be a ghost that can sneak through a corner or things like that, like spying u from distance, the strong poit is that it can go out to the spawn and kill u, the only way u can run is showing the crucifix (the crucifix will not be destroyed) or being INSIDE the van. 2º The trapper: It would insta trap the players inside the house making it imposible to get out unless the players find 3 things, a doll, a knife and a mirror. It would hunt the players every 2 minutes, and once the players scape it would be easy to beat.

I was about to get off youtube and I was so happy cause I saw Insym uploaded another minecraft phasmo video. Also thank you Insym for showing us this because I have wanted to play phasmo but never could until you showed us this. Also the flashlight does light up dark areas when holding it, if it doesn't work you might need to check if the settings are what they tell you on the website. One last thing if you want to do it with Cj and Psycho and keep all your money and items, what you can do is go into your minecraft folder and open saves then copy the world and make a server using that file of the world.

Another important thing about Nightmare mode. The cameras are really buggy in Nightmare. If the ghost hunts while you are on cams it can kill you through cams. It can also teleport you to the cam. It doesnt matter if it hunts or not. It can be annoying but also helpfull. I once unwillingly spectated the ghost through the cam. i think the death by cam and the spectating thing are glitches but the teleport seems to be wanted since it plays a sound and gives particles

According to their website it's the opposite for difficulty. Extreme - Like Professional, but sanity drains even quicker! Nightmare - All players start at 0 sanity, and the ghost can immediately hunt as soon as you approach the room. Sanity drains at a rate of 1 per second to avoid pills. The ghost is also capable of pulling players out of the cameras, usually following with an aggressive action!

Insym, 20 year old here. The Roblox Phasmophobia games are interesting in both different ways. They don't use any of the same maps as Phasmophobia, and the mechanics/some of the ghosts are different as well. With Paranormica, it's a bit more buggier but it really drives home trying to rule out ghosts based off the evidence you already have. When you're in the truck, you can change the difficulty manually, from 0 to 5. I don't recommend playing beyond maybe 3, as after that point the ghost becomes incredibly chain-hunty and there's little chance you can get evidence that way. I don't know if they've fixed the behaviors since then, but it is possible to beat the game on higher difficulties if you play on the first house map. The reason being is that most of the rooms are against a wall accessible to the outside, except for the front hallway. The reason why this is important is from my experience when I used to play it extensively: you can trick the game into thinking you're inside the house by hugging the wall, and it allows you to get evidence like freezing and EMF 5 and Ghost Orbs and such. To drop items, you have to press Backspace. To do things like turn on light switches, you must toggle off of the item you're holding. If the ghost shuts off the breaker, you need a Fuse to repair it. However, Specter is definitely the way to go for a more accurate Phasmophobia experience. It is a lot more polished and functional, and I personally believe you would find it to be really fun. Trying to figure out the ghosts, their behaviors. The interesting thing about Specter is how different the hunt system works, for instance you can never hide. The ghost always knows where you are, it's just a matter of whether or not it can get to you in time. It is a bit immersion breaking seeing as you can just run from it -- unless it's fast. The only bummer about it is that you always know when it's hunting because it plays music during the hunt. Information that you might find useful, there are, unfortunately, jumpscares that pop up at random. This really takes away from the game, HOWEVER there is an option to turn them off in settings. I know you're not going to see this, but I still wanted to say this for anyone who wanted to give it a shot :") - A formerly obsessed Paranormica player.

49:00 about what you were saying about the current phasmo, a lot of the stuff you were saying about old phasmo vs new phasmo is the reason why a lot of me and my friends no longer play the current phasmo the roaming the multi kills in nightmare mode, it used to be so fun and cool to feel like you can explore a map and feel like as soon as you found the ghost room you just had to bring in some evidence items and be done with it and move on to the next cool map. But current phasmo youre sometimes in a game looking for a ghost for a while, and then you have to bring in evidence items into a location that the ghost could of already of left lol I miss the old phasmo so much

Roblox Phasmo is fun but challenging. Specter evidence is easy to get (except orbs) but you literally cannot hide and expect to live. You have to loop (unless it is a Jinn then you just die). (Jinn's ability is swapped so the breaker has to be OFF for the Jinn to go fast) Specter II, you can hide but the evidence is really hard to get. You cannot loop safely.

So a couple weeks ago I looked at the code to find out when the ghost is able to hunt. The sanity thresholds are fucking weird man. There's no "base" threshold, each ghost has it's own. And dont get me started on shades, when you're playing solo shades are MUCH more likely to hunt.
