If you do another video like this, you should add the Create Aeronautics mod, which is an expansion for the create mod that adds contraptions like planes and ground vehicles and stuff. It’s still in development so the only videos of it are the ones in the discord and on their KZbin

The blockfront mod was actually made by scottehboeh, a really popular Minecraft KZbinr. And it wasn't made by ajcyrilldy, they have a discord server for events and other stuff and now scottehboeh is working for hypixel on their hytale game.

I’d know, I’m a moder ;) But in all seriousness our community is amazing and anyone can get into moving pretty easily with the likes of mcreator (I tend to hybridise mcreator with raw Java class editing for quick yet in depth project creation) and as long as you have at least some experience coding with something like C or Java (not JS they are completely different things. Also can I just say the charred biome is nothing in comparison to limbo in my mod music disc madness, a mod that adds 4 dimensions as of 1.0 and soon to be 10 as of 2.0 Did I mention the origins of this mod span from a joke about a dirt dimension with all of its blocks being in a creative tab called “dirty secrets” with a diamond hoe icon?

1:14 No, not really. LOD is what, like, integral to literally almost every modern game ever made? Minecraft just doesn't use level of detail rendering, so if the render distance is high enough it could tank a PC with a threadripper and 3090 in seconds. Minecraft renders a block 12 chunks away with the same detail as a block in the same chunk as you (even though you can't reasonably display the detail in the space provided). I'm no expert in making rendering engines so I can't speak on the difficulty of creating something like that, but I feel like it's necessary for Mojang to implement something similar at some point. Considering you still need a mod to handle some entity culling shit I'd say they really need to focus on optimization before adding more to the game.

We (creators of this mod) reached conclusion that Mojang or rather MS jsut doesn't care about it, and just live in reality where couple dozen chunks on BE is enough.

That charred forest biome was likely inspired by what is a very similar biome in 7 days to die, albeit with a different aesthetic.
