A memory associated with a time before you lost a best friend, cried at a great grandmothers funeral, made mistakes, left an unaccepting father, lived in a car for a week... There wasn't as much to cry about back then, the white of snow being so simple. Even this image isn't simple anymore, because it carries with it the context of time spent and time lost, experience gained, the possibilities for new experiences with certain people tragically cut off. The calm white of this falling snow isnt notable anymore under the crushing weight of time and life, but back then I was so content with sitting still, like this image, where as now, all I desire is for it to move. To run down the hill and do something. Maybe I'm just more aware of mortality, or maybe I simply carry more stress and depression... I no longer feel like I just have time to calmly do what I want under a calm winter day, because I've lost so much, and I've gained some too, but now I have more to lose. Maybe this is why nostalgia is melancholy, and vaguely sad, reminding you of a time before you lost, and before you gained more that you'll eventually lose, a time before you were conscious of the possibility of loss. I'd never take it all back, but I want to be able to breathe like that, calm, without fear, and without the thoughts that permeate me now Idk why I'm writing this anyway. Sometimes I just need a hug and space to cry

I once had a 360 creative world, the first world I made, I loved it, had tons of animals, build -good- trash pixel-art (I wore the super meat boy skin) built my skin into a house, all that. I miss having to fight with the people saying girls couldn’t play minecraft.. I was 4. Not knowing the world. But I knew the minecraft world. The minecraft world where I could play with my cousins, the world where everything was peaceful. In the outside, I was having the time of my life, having fun, going to parks and the beach, having my sister to play around with me, the world becoming happier every second. My moms hugs. My dads cooking, everything was perfect. Until I was 8. Everything hit at one time. Suddenly, I was anxious about school, I was scared of my teachers and I was scared of my friends leaving me. That’s when I started to care about my looks. Thinking I was too fat. I suddenly lost my innocence, way to fast. At 10, I matured, but I tried to be popular to fit in, i forced myself to put on makeup. To try and look better. And it worked, but I always put a fake smile. Now at 11. My parents are fighting every single day. I always try to become more childlike, downloading and watching videos of aphmau, Dantdm, markiplier, theodd1sout, ihascupquake. In 2020, I successfully tried not to care about my looks, and just went with my looks and my body and that it was fine, as long as I was healthy. I didn’t care about being popular but enjoying my youth as it is. My sister now had a boyfriend and I can’t sleep because they always talk. I wake up at 10 am. And sleep at 7 am. Always having eye bags. Now that quarantine is happening again more seriously, I rarely get out, I play minecraft and roblox just how I did when I was little. I tried to embrace my serious but childlike side as well. My child mind is still in there, having fun, dancing without a care, but slowly.. I’m just becoming more mature. I still watch Disney movies, and I still love plushies, but only because I liked my childhood so much, I miss it, and I always try to have fun just like i did when I was little. I’m 11. But I’m more mature than the others. I have anxiety and I have multiple panic attacks during the day, I had OCD when I was 10, and I suffered from self harm at 9-10 and starving myself at 10, I faced so many things. But look at me now, I’m happy as ever, so so happy and I couldn’t wish for more, my parents still fight, my sister is still mean, my sleep schedule is horrible. But, I am so happy. I am happy to still be here. Enjoying life. Thankful I didn’t kill myself as I planned. Some times I thought I was transgender (ftm) but it was all just insecurities, but now I choose to embrace my insecurities. I like bts, I like kpop, so what? There’s billions of people who like it too. I’m not alone. I’m lesbian. And so what? I like girls. The fight is not over. I will never give up. I wish everybody a good day.

Girl...I'm 23 and you remind me so much of myself when I was your age. I had horrible acne starting at age 10 (5th grade!) and my skin was so oily and gross that I hid in my room playing video games all day, knowing that I wasn't as pretty like my classmates. I'll never forget the one time we were learning adjectives in my high school Spanish class and my teacher, referring to the pictures on our worksheets, asked us who was ugly--and one girl shouted my name in front of the whole class. My parents fought, too. There were times when I seriously thought they would get a divorce. I've had severe anxiety and major depression for as long as I can remember, and sometimes I just couldn't see myself getting anywhere in life. But somewhere along the line, I stopped worrying about how I looked, because as it turns out...the right people won't care about your imperfections. I got the confidence to go to community college, then to a big university, which really helped me break out of my shell. I have my own apartment now. My own car. I'm graduating with a Bachelor's degree in December. It's really liberating, when you finally stop caring about what other people think, so to anyone out there who can't see the light at the end of the tunnel...it's there. Trust me, it's there. And you are going to be so, so happy that you didn't give up on it.

This is essentially just a series of low-detail 2D images. A few splashes of arranged colour on a flat surface. Yet so many people find the solitude/coziness immersive enough to be relaxing. Shows how powerful our brains are! I'm not saying that reality isn't real, but our brains do create the experience for us from sensory information. How accurate/full is our perception? The more you think about it, the more incredible it seems. When somebody experiences something that seems to not exist, it may fully exist to them, as much as your reality does to you. I'm talking about things that don't really exist but are just a result of an altered state of mind. Then again though, perhaps it even actually exists whether we are aware of it or not, and the altered state of mind simply allows us to perceive what we're usually blind to. Our thoughts are electromagnetic waves. The waves move through our bodies to allow us to move our muscles by thought. So, essentially, we are brainwaves. I believe there is something deeper that influences those brainwaves and anchors them together - such as a soul - but, scientifically, we are our thoughts and therefore electromagnetic waves. At night, the frequency of our brainwaves changes, and then we dream - we tune out of awareness of this reality and into awareness of hidden things. Sure, they are most likely just our memories woven into fabrications, but it's proof of concept. We don't simply dream, there is a process that gets us there and away from here. I'm completely convinced that there is a spiritual world, that we don't usually perceive, and that it affects us daily. Sorry if this is a little overkill for a Minecraft-related video.

Years ago my friends and I used to have our own server where we would make houses and play snowball fights, tag, build battles and so on then all of a sudden they just stopped logging on... our daily play fights turned into me waiting on the server for them, walking around in their houses remembering all the fun times we had. After waiting for 4 in a half months I ended up deleting Minecraft because I didn't see any point in anymore and it brought me sadness to be in the server by myself not knowing what happened to them, of course now I have it again but I forgot my log-in to my old account and I don't remember their usernames just nicknames :sob: I just found it nice that the house is purple which used to be the inside color of Pie's house (owner of the server) I wish them and pretty much anyone who read this well

I'v searched, and the version I played at 2013 was 1.6.2-3 That's quite old actually. The new stuff, such as shulkers, magma, the most of the nether, coloured glass, high grass, endercities, poisoned arrows, redstone in bedrock seems new to me. As a bedrock player, I might be a veteran, I remember: 1)nether core 2)how we used sand instead of redstone. This game has changed a lot. I remember how armourstands used to be a mode, how there was a mode for bedrock, that alowses you to SHIFT AND RUN. Evry new update seems a mode to me, like that's not vinilla. I'm came here to see some classic minecraft vibes.

Today, I do still play Minecraft, but it honestly won’t be the same to how it was around 5-6 years ago. I used to play on pocket edition, not even knowing how to play the game and it was still so much fun, and also the same as when I would play with my sister who is now 15, and my other sister who is almost 17. Sometimes I wish I never gotten older and was still in those times on when I was excited when I found diamonds, when I duplicated items to fill my world up with nether reactor cores. Same as when I first got my Xbox 360, and always played Minecraft with my sisters, and always having fun every time. It’s a shame people get older and move on with stuff. And also how I used to have online friends I played with every single day on Minecraft windows 10 edition on servers like mineplex and lifeboat. I’ve played those servers nowadays but they aren’t the same, and continue playing java, playing hypixel and smps, but it would never be the same to when I first mined my first tree, first mined a vein of diamonds, built my first house, getting introduced to Minecraft. And if any of those old online friends are out there and somehow see this post, you know who you are and I would remember you guys as “awesomelawson8” who really liked the KZbin tayber at the time and same as me and also someone who I’m not completely sure on what their name is but I remember as Sendai Wensai. Miss playing with you guy, and hope we somehow talk again one day. And also sorry if some of this makes no sense. I’m typing this at like 1:00 at night lol.
