Yeah I've always loved snow biomes. Always gave me a special feeling. Same with rain too. I played minecraft 2010-2012ish. My first world I built my base in a snow biome. I built it in a mountain. I have been trying to reverse engineer the seed through a video I have of me playing, but the video doesn't give much details since it was only a few seconds. I came back momentarily throughout the years, but nothing concrete. I came back in 2020 for a few months for nostalgia and I ended up building a house in-between a snow and rain biome. So I can go to either side I like. That's the best home for me.

I've put in over 2k hours into Minecraft. Nothing has quite felt the same after my main World that died out when updates stopped for Xbox 1 edition but every once in a while I try to get something started again but it really just isn't the same. I hope I can one day enjoy that same amazement and fascination that I did before. Maybe the Caves and Cliffs update will be the one to do it; Till then.

This is as true for Runescape as it is for Minecraft. I am speaking from experience. I have played Runescape since 2007 if you can believe it, and Minecraft since early 2012. I have not played either game for a few years, really, since just after finishing high school. At the peak of my years-long addiction to both games, they consumed my free time and gave me an escape from a troubled home life, social issues and school worries. I have taken so many small breaks from these games that I couldn't count them. No matter how long, whether it was days or years, I always knew in my heart that my Minecraft worlds and my Runescape account were waiting for me, preserved in time. That gives me comfort even now, knowing my RS account from 2007 is there for me when I need it again. I made that account in 4th grade. I have lived a lifetime of experiences, but that account has been constant through everything I have seen and been through in the last 13 years. They relieved my anxiety and loneliness. They teleported me to an entirely new and exciting world free of the problems I faced in my life. I will always, ALWAYS be grateful for that. The friends I bonded with, the pleasant memories, and the adventures I had will stay with me for the rest of my life. I am in a dark place now, crushed by depression and anxiety. I come to videos like these to seek refuge from the pain I feel. Thanks for reading, friends. I want to play Minecraft again but I don't have any friends to experience it with. 💔

No idea if anyone will see this but this is a true story, I’ll make it short and sweet I remember the day when I got introduced to minecraft, I played it at my friends house and I had no idea what I was doing, yet still was having so much fun, 7 years later I still play this game daily but my friend quit many years ago, not to be rude to him but he associated with bad people and later became a bad person even though I always knew he didn’t want to be that. (In that time his mother also died 😔) A few months ago I met him again after 4 years, I asked him if he still played and he laughed, so I decided to play along. As a “joke” I said do you remember this music and proceeded to put the minecraft music on. At first he said he didn’t but I purposely left the music on. Their was a weird silence for a while and I looked at him and saw he was upset. I didn’t say anything but I knew he was feeling nostalgic, he hated his “friends”, he hates his collage life, he wanted his old life back. I asked him shall we play again just for old time sakes. Without hesitation...he said yes. I introduced him to all our old fiends again and we all play every day now. He is now so much different and more importantly, he’s so much happier. This just shows that minecraft isn’t just a game, it could be so much more...

It was a day in 2012, I came back home from school. My brother introduced me to this game called Minecraft, he taught me the controls. I remember at first I was roleplaying in creative mode as a farmer, it was the good old days. Later on I played survival for the first time, I wondered why I had hearts, my brother told me that I should avoid taking damage. I remember swimming in rivers, picking up flowers, and farming. I would always play on peaceful because I was afraid of monsters. I also remember my pets, I had a dog named woofy, a cat, and a cow, however my dog drowned when I was exploring the snowy taiga. I remember watching minecraft on youtube a lot, I watched danTDM, popularMMOs, and stampy. I also remember watching modded minecraft. As a gullible little kid, of course I would believe everything they did. And I tried building the aether portal and tried crafting emerald tools and of course, it didn't work. I was disappointed. I one time accidentally went into my brother's world and killed in in lava accidentally. My brother got mad and banned me from his worlds. I one time remember he played minecraft multiplayer with his friends, he made very cool builds. Another time I accidentally played hardcore, I died on the first night and wondered why I couldn't respawn. Later on the computer got a virus and we had to reset it deleting minecraft in the proccess. I never played minecraft until I got it back in 2020, Minecraft made my childhood. Thank you minecraft, your game is part of my childhood, thank you for all the memories you gave us. Also thank you all the youtubers who made my childhood the way it is. And thank you for reading. EDIT: when I started up minecraft again in 2020, and I started a new world, sweden played in the background, my head flooded with nostalgia, it reminded me of my first dirt hut, my carrot farm, my villager friends, my minecraft pets, the cake stampy would always eat, DanTDM's old lab, and PopularMMO's pet creeper Bomby, thank you minecraft for creating this game, and thank you to C418 for creating such a great soundtrack.

This makes me remember when I was a kid that loved to watch Minecraft every single day. When I was a kid, even though my house was not that poor, I could not play Minecraft because I did not have a good PC or Laptop. Watching Minecraft videos on KZbin made me want to grow up as adults because I thought I could buy the game when I had my own money. I was always jealous of my cousin because he had Minecraft, and he never let me to play it. (Later on, I realised that he downloaded illegal one to play because his family did not allow him to buy the game). When I was 14, I finally bought the game by saving my money. But because of schoolworks, I abandoned the game for 2 years. When I was in 10th grade, my cousin came to my house (he is a 6th cousin, the youngest because he is currently in 5th grade). I then offered him to play Minecraft all of sudden. I did not know why. But when we played together, I did not know we have a lot of fun. I felt like I was in 3rd grade that always watched others played Minecraft on KZbin. I felt happy because I was playing with someone, but sad at the same time when thinking times fly so fast. I remembered even though I did not have Minecraft, I still had a good childhood because of the memories of watching my favourite KZbinrs played Minecraft. Now, most of them close the account or move on from Minecraft. I still remember those old days and sometimes feel sad when everything is changing so fast. That is why I am appreciated this guy because he makes my nostalgia hit me as bullet haha :)

I remember playing with my friends on vacation with this. We'd always admire the sunset, and try and beat ghasts. We'd also build amazing structures, bases, even get cool mods to put in our worlds. By this time, we never knew we had to sign up for servers, neither did we know about realms. We just played the game. We'd laugh, cry, and get mad all at the same time. I even remember us deleting and reinstalling Pocket Edition because it the app wasn't allowing us to join each other. I'd always be so hyped up when the weekend started because I could watch all my favorite mincraft youtubers like Stampy, DanTDM, LDShadowLady, and much more. A few years later I completely forgot about them and decided to go check up on them. Most of their channels were dying. I felt much pain, and suffer to experience my childhood YT-ers that were quitting KZbin, or stopped showing up on my recommendation page.
@aidenaang67324 жыл бұрын
That's so true in case of KZbinrs. Although my childhood wasn't filled with Minecraft, i still played it by myself, and i was always using my creativity to just play around, or goof around in the realm, because Minecraft was and still is a sandbox, that nothing in the world will probably beat. This game will be always unique. But coming back to the topic, i watched Minecraft a lot, lot, lot back in 2014-2015, and i've watched my favorite KZbinrs play it, and i remember them making bunch of cool roleplaying series, but i always remembered watching escape maps, and i loved them so much. Then of course, as the time was flying, they all left Minecraft in lower or higher degree... Before, they had 100k views, many people were they're fans, and all of them were loving the minecraft series... But now when i look at these channels, the videos there are reaching none more than few hundred- few thousand views.

Gonna write a little something here, although it will more likely be a fruitless comment to make (aka waste of my time). I recall my first time playing Minecraft being, obviously, magical. I boot up the 360, now covered in dust, to play the trial version and after playing it, enticed me with a power, a vigour: Creativity. I was used to playing Lego blocks but this, was infinite Lego blocks. My father eventually got me the full version of the game. Ecstatic, I wanted to build that ship thingy from Halo 4. I was greeted with an open world of snow, I loved it and hold it dear to my heart. Soon there were more things that were added to that world. Greater and ambitious builds of pure gold were scattered across it. I will eventually meet friends and we began to develop minigame worlds. Some or most of them were incomplete, but we would usually play one or two of the minigame worlds that are functional. But soon that changed, as time is the reaper of all things under the sun. We eventually lost interest in Minecraft; we went to other games, schisms occurred within the old crew of friends or they just moved. The minigames worlds, and survival worlds, became less and less. Soon I was alone, updating a game mode that will never be played again by anyone, basically dead on "release". Before I left Minecraft I examined my first world, the winter realm of nostalgia. A reminder of a time that was full of aspiration and blissful joy. That was about 2013-ish. Just listening to this video reminds me of those times.

Story: 7 years ago, my friends showed me a game called Minecraft, keep in mind, I had never played a video game before besides mobile games. It was on the Xbox 360 and I was in awe. I remember going to their house just to play the game. I would cry every time I had to leave. Then I got my dads old ps3 when he got the ps4. And he got me Minecraft. I plays hours and hours of the game, avoiding survival because I was scared. I always took the game for granted. Then after awhile, I just stopped playing. I had an Xbox 1, but chose to play other games. Then pewdiepie started making MC videos. I was motivated to play after 4-5 years of not playing the game. Since then, I couldn’t put the game down. Wow, i've never had such nostalgia... In 2013 i played Minecraft for the first time, i had soo much friends everyday from 7AM till 11PM we played and life was so simple... Then after like 4 Years it started... the first quit and we just couldn't believe it. Then after some Months, i was one of the only one standing. It's pretty sad to see if you go in old worlds from like 5 6 Years and see everyones building, we had fun at the time this blocks got placed. Sometimes, i see their dogs too but still nothin' around. It makes me happy, that the Minecraft hype starts a bit again. But still, It's Heartbreaking, and im gonna go now in my bedrom and cry lol

You know. I always found winter a beautiful Horror. Just the idea of a place so cold that walking out can kill you is simply terrifying. Yet the landscape of any place that snows is simply... wonderful something that cannot be described by the word beautiful or gorgeous. I personally find myself craving that scene more and more. And Minecraft makes me crave it even more.

This.. makes me calmly excited for the cave update. My first day in mc was back when it was first in xbox 360, I was on the tutorial world, learning how to play, that and I only had the demo, which I played for hours and hours, every hour it reset but I loved it.. I miss that old tutorial world, I lost my first ever world I made when I got the full game, which I had spent like, 200+ hours on with my dad, when my xbox red ringed, and wouldn't turn on anymore.. I miss those days..

1st hour: do you want 8 ads? Next 9 hours: enjoy you calm. ----- Minecraft, a beautiful game, to play hours alone, with friends, with strangers. Sometimes, the music, is perfect, the calm, the enviroment, the situation. I enjoyed this game for 1 year and i love it, i love it with my life. The perfect game to play when you had a bad day and forgot you problems, that day, where you got screwed. --------- Storytime: I met minecraft at 7 years ago and ironically at 7yo and i watched lots of videos, tutorials, series, survivals, minigames, I loved that game but i never knew about the piratery until 1 year later, i never knew how to play minecraft and i abandoned the game, not ragequit or something else, I ABANDONED the game but 2 years ago, I remembered a name and it was, of course, Minecraft. I decided to watch videos to prepare myself and submerge into that world again, I never played it because is a tendency, I played it because I Love it, it was part of my childhood and now, as an adolescent, I play it to escape from this world and stay focused in my Worlds, thanks to Minecraft, I learned the real meaning of escape. Thanks to minecraft, I met a wonderful and creative community. Thanks to Minecraft... I... Knew what is the real meaning of... Friends... Thank to everyone who read this, have a Great Day because almost everyday, you start with a Breakdown.

when i was younger, maybe 10 or so, i built this town and had all my friends play on it. I would make them houses, give jobs, sports, so on. Eventually we got older. Now, i like to revisit that world and add small adjustments here and there, remembering each sign placed down. This goes for so many worlds ive built. All reach the same fate, yet its comforting. In a world with infinite lives, possibilities, outcomes, a consistent end is usually guaranteed. Thats the beauty of it, I think.

Minecraft music will always be like nothing else I’ve ever listened to. Because of the deep connection to it, so many hours spent in my childhood, I never noticed the music until after I came back to it. I started playing Minecraft when I was 9 or 10. It was 2011. I had a kindle that I played on with my friend down the street. I still remember the update when they added the sun and moon textures. Before that the light levels would just increase or decrease. I was so excited about the new sunset that I built a big cabin with a deck that went out on the water facing west so my friend and I could watch the sunset together, I remember thinking it was so beautiful. In 2013 I got my first gaming console; an Xbox 360 (I know I was late to the party). I played creative at first mostly, I remember building a huge underground mansion complete with a working red stone elevator and secret doors. It was really cool actually, had a movie theater and a pool too. I was really sad when I couldn’t find the world on my Xbox 360 when I turned it on a few months ago. It was only a 500 megabyte one (the cheapest option) so all my games were stored on a little 20 gig flash drive. Probably long gone now with all my worlds on it lost forever. To anyone who read this- thanks and keep on mining.

This is a true a story When I first got introduced to Minecraft, it was a cold, early morning before school, my friends told me about it, I feel in love with the game and after a year I introduced my cousins to it, and eventually we started to play everyday when we were together, either doing build challenges, creative worlds, or survival gameplays, during quarantine since non of us had school one of my cousins who lived in Florida ( two live in Florida, me, my sister, and another cousin live in pa) started a realm, the realm eventually died due to sibling in fighting, but we tried again and that died for a different reason, when we were all together during the summer I was the only one who wanted to play, it made kinda sad since it was a game we played for like 5 years (I’m in high school now) and I became nostalgic since I remembered all the fun moments we had playing the game.

Somehow youtube recommended this to me probably because i usually listen to these when i wanna calm down from everything going so fast, and although listening to the Minecraft soundtrack and these videos by itself would instantly put me thru a wave of nostalgia and emotions man, just like stinging pain of wishing things were as simple and good, and the deep attachment you have to a simple game because you really set yourself in there, idk if anyone out there also experiences the way i just suddenly wanna cry at the mention of Minecraft of simply hearing its melodies, all those adventures, those explorations on distant lands you spent hours scouring, the simple yet impactful beauty of it, it’s really indescribable, i had to quit Minecraft because my brother deleted all my data of it and i can’t get back in, but once, once i’ve finally leave this place, i’ll definitely return to Minecraft and start anew, i thank the calming people who make videos such as these, a simple remedy, and to you who have read all this way, pleasure to meet you here friend.

2012, winter break, and my older brother bought a new game. i was in preschool at the time, and he was in 5th grade. the game was called minecraft. he wanted to play together so he asked if he could teach me how to play. i drowned a few times, but it was whatever. i started to get the hang of it (we played on xbox 360 at the time) and he bought another controller so we could play together. we played split screen all day long. we played from morning to night, building houses, farming, mining, i had the best time ever. he started to not play as much, but i continued on our old world. then, i bought and xbox one because that was when fortnite was a thing, and i lost interest in minecraft. after season 8 i stopped, and i realized that minecraft was still in my recently played. i hopped on the game and it hit me. all the fun times my brother and i had playing this game. he is now in college, and we both bought PC minecraft. we have a realm and we play on it almost everyday. i missed the good days at home.

Here's my two cents. I've been playing Minecraft for a few years now. It's one of my favourite games. I've become especially fond of a creative world that I made where I just create random stuff in a colourful mishmash. But it's my mishmash. For whatever reason, my Switch couldn't run cartridges for a while, which included Minecraft. I couldn't access it for nearly 5 months. Towards the end of the time, one of my friends died. I knew that as soon as I got back to Minecraft, I'd make a memorial for him. As soon as I got the Switch back, I created him a little pyramid that looks out to the entire mishmash. I named it after him, hoping that he'd see it from up in the sky. That pyramid is still my most meaningful thing. I have so many things that are bigger and more flashy, but this tiny sand pyramid is my go to spot to just chill.
