The Boomstick, and the rest of jungle objects for that matter, are not found in mahogany chest, but rather in Ivy chests, which are found in jungle shrines and living mahogany trees.

Not exactly, Minecraft generation doesn’t generate an entire world at once like terraria (they are infinitely large) rather, they generate by chunks. He has to travel REALLY far to get new generation but he doesn’t have to change worlds. Unless I am missing something and this mod changes world size and chunk generation

How do you get them? There are no shadow orbs / crimson hearts so you can't get the meteor to fall. They're in the mod and accessible in creative mode, but I don't see how you could get them in survival.

James, bullets themselves also attract the arms dealer, not just guns :) so if you're able to craft silver/tungsten bullets, perhaps that's the key to success! Edit: Realized it's not possible as the recipe also needs normal musket balls to work, woops :) Ofcourse, that's all based on normal Terraria, not TerrariaCraft haha

From what I remember though the only way to get bullets is either from the arms dealer himself, or with the musket/undertaker, and silver bullets only from the arms dealer. Nice idea but probably wouldn't work, unless my memory is just bad :)

Tungsten/silver bullets are indeed craftable, but I just checked the wiki and realized you also need normal musket balls to combine with the tungsten/silver in order to craft them haha- so technically yeah its not possible for James Should I delete this comment 😂

any type of bullet either needs to be made from musket balls or empty bullets(hardmode) so no can do without an arms dealer

Personally I only delete comments that are, in retrospect, insensitive or rude, there's no shame in being wrong and had there been a way to directly craft bullets it would have been really helpful :D

I was playing and fell into a perfectly spherical chamber. In the center was an enchanted sword in a stone. Mining it dropped the Arkhalis. It's probably super rare but still something to look out for in your future episodes (also I'm loving this series, you're doing great!)

Well I'm sorry to tell you that you got several things wrong unfortunately : 1- the boomstick can't be found in mahogany houses , but rather in ive chests in the shrines 2- Meteorite bars cannot be found in gold chests , they are found in shadow chests 3- the space gun is a mage weapon and doesn't affect the spawning of the arms dealer And good luck buddy on the road to 1M subs I'm really rooting for you 🎊🎉🎊🎉

Here's an idea for the creators of the mod, what if you render only 1 chunk wide world with borders on the sides, this will allow you to create a limited world and possibility to add Sceletrons castle at the end , and structures in the Lava biome , I don't know if this is even possible to implement, this is just my idea nor do I even know how to begin making the mod myself

I don’t think you have worded this in the right way for one dude, while I’m not a dev for the mod I know enough about coding to know that something like this isn’t easy by any means, then again this mod and it’s devs are already madman’s that know their way around the Minecraft dlls/ apks or whatever Mc uses (mby libs) but regardless don’t request difficult things of the devs. Also I have a feeling they are working on it.

@@RetroGamingAndModding they don't need to add world limitation, just have the dungeon spawn at a certain distance from the spawn in a random direction. As for the Hell biome, the just need to rework the nether so it wouldn't affect the world as much as possible, especially if they are planning to make the WoF fight as big as it is in terraria.

@@hachisu5288 also remember, they don’t use a seperate dimension they use the bottom of the world and cubic chunks. now you see this actually great decreases the difficulty of doing something like that because cubic chunks allows for 3D biome generation and thus underground bosses, as for hell buildings the same random surface structure generation applies, just underground which we have seen in both vanilla and terraria craft already in the form of dungeons mine shafts and strongholds from vanilla and the underground shacks from terraria craft.

@@RetroGamingAndModding true, I just thought that it would be much easier to rework the nether than placing the hell layer in the overworld since minecraft doesn't have as much depth as terraria does so the vertical wouldn't pack as much stuff as terraria, but I guess the horizontal infinite world generation can compensate for it. As to how they would implement WoF, they could just use big box and have it move at the fixed centre of each 4 directions depending on where you spawn it, increasing its speed as it get to a certain health percentage.

This really puts into perspective how big an extra dimension is. And not only do you have an extra dimension to search, you also can’t see through walls anymore like in 2D. I’m not sure because I’m not a game Dev, but maybe they should add an option to increase ore/chest/life crystal spawns to compensate? There is something to be said for making it more difficult, but I’m sure that this would also scare a lot of players away

To find meteorite without the meteor go to dungeon defeat skeleton and fine the shadow key and go to hell and the shadow chests has a chance to have meteorite

Meteorite Bars can spawn in the golden chests, i played a bunch of terraria craft and got myself a space gun that way (its really fun to use) and if i remember right theres even a full set of meteorite armor. Also you can get the *Arms Dealer* with it in terrariacraft (which i am guessing is a bug) because i had him arrive at a house randomly even tho i dont have any gun except the space gun, but he did dissapear randomly at one point and hasnt arrived again since. Also congrats on 900k :)

nevermind he just moved in again so can confirm for sure that you can get the arms dealer with the space gun (the reason he dissapeared was because he walked/teleported at night onto the workbench that i use as the table and suffocated in the block above it)

There aren't too many guns available before Arms Dealer in PHM, and even less in TerrariaCraft considering Shadow Orbs and I assume Crimson Hearts aren't implemented yet. However, there might be some other methods if you can't find a Boomstick: - Once Christmas rolls around, you can farm enemies for a Red Ryder, so long as Presents are implemented - If the Dungeon is implemented and you can somehow manage to beat Skeletron, maybe a Handgun? Doubtful though - It depends on a lot, but if Parties _and_ Pigronatas are implemented (even more doubtful) if you can find a Party Girl you can farm Pigronatas for Party Bullets, which would cause the Arms Dealer to move in Might just be easier to use the Boomstick method though lol

Yeah, I just knew you would get yourself killed with that Gravitation Potion... Chippy, that is why there is Featherfall Potions. Also most likely the reason they last 10 mins, while the Gravitation Potion only last for 3 mins. You could take them both at the same time, and still have 7 mins of slow falling left after the Gravitation Potion runs out. I'm glad we got to see the Gravitation Potion in action. You should get more of them, along with Featherfall Potions and try to find a floating island.

I can't recall if gravi pots ignore fall damage in Terraria, since I either use ropes upwards, platforms or straight up wings. Having fall damage immunity is key though, or else.

@@reviewreaper8508 They do not. The Wiki says; "While flipping gravity resets the player's fall distance, this potion does not negate fall damage on its own. Using a Featherfall Potion, wings, a Lucky Horseshoe, an Obsidian Horseshoe or any Horseshoe Balloon will make using Gravitation Potions a lot safer."

I personally found 22 meteorite bars in a gold chest and made a space gun, and after that I made houses and the first npc I got was the arms dealer, I don’t know for sure, but the think the space gun was the only thing I had.

I haven't played terrariacraft myself so I can't test this theory but are you able to press f3 to see your coordinates? I wonder if structures only generate along a certain zone within 0 of the x/z axis as some weird artifact of porting generation from a 2d world to a 3d world.

I doubt it, they didn't literally take the code for 2D generation and copy+paste it. More likely they looked at the 2D structures and made new 3D generation to look like it.

you should check if they set it up were you need shadow scales to make the pick like we do in Terraria . if it's set to require them the pick wont show up on the crafting menu but you know this

I think the chest loot needs to be updated as a whole. If I remember correctly, the first item of a chest is usually a good one, like an accessorie or some sort of loot box. But it’s always hard to be disappointed when they have already put so much effort into this mod!

Maybe they could tweak the spelunker potions range to be adjustable based on render distance or something up to a maximum and minimum distance. Just boost up the maximum a few blocks.
