You know, waaaay back in the day, we're talking back when Forge was just a library and we used ML/MLMP, a significant power source was a steam boiler from Railcraft connected to Buildcraft commercial/industrial steam engines to produce a bunch of MJ. It's nice to see that sort of setup being viable again.

Deployers are an easy way of feeding the blaze heaters if you put a piece of glass inbetween. The glass stops the Deployers from dropping the items or using charcoal when the heater is already on. Then just make botany pots growing trees and feeding into a furnace on the top and side. Then out of the bottom into the Deployers.

I'm fairly sure (maybe not in this modpack) that Create Copper Pipes can extract water from water source blocks, resulting in infinite water and not depleting the source block. Even if it does, maybe just creating an infinite water source will remedy that. Edit: I've been enlightened by the replies. Thank you :)

I assume this is in reference to him (wanting to) use an Aqueous Accumulator for infinite water instead? Either way, while the create method does work and is definitely cheaper, it's a fair bit slower, as the aqueous accumulator produces water faster and can therefore support better boilers by itself

The Create pumps are great for supplying water, but they require a dedicated generator in case the system shuts off. The aqueous accumulator may be slow, but it will always be providing water for free.

This is correct. The only reason to do it the way in the video is so that you can use the Pipez mod to move the water for 0su and way faster than even 2 or 3 pumps would.

Great video. You can use two (or more) danks on the same ID to act as an ender chest between multiple remote locations. Useful to "wirelessly" transfer items, like resource collection vs resource processing in a different area.

You only require a redstone signal on the mechanical crafters if there is crafters which don't have items. If all slots are filled it will automatically start

Concerning the mechanical crafters : i believe you have to use a redstone signal if the craft you are making does not fill all of the crafters, letting you use them for recipes with a smaller shape than your wall of crafters. It has nothing to do with the initial craft you've done on the same wall

You can make covers for the crafters you don't want to use in craft. They take 3 brass nuggets.

I'm still learning a lot of the create and following along I have the issue that the fluid pipe for me will not connect to the blaze burner, I'm wondering if that's because of a change recently made or if i'm just not placing it right, any suggestions? *edit* aaaand nm figured out my problem...forgot the straw lol

Idk if you checked it yet, but maybe you can get a better rate in the crucible by swapping from a campfire to something else ? i remmeber some modpacks getting some super high rate if you used a blaze related block, or lava, or uranium blocks, or ...

Im a little farther along in this pack and am semi stuck. Conveyors needed for metal press need either leather or ersatz leather, and i cant seem to get cows or bees to spawn.

Instead of shift k to compress nuggets check out the create blueprints your probably passed that stage but they are a thing pretty much a crafting painting set recipe and rightclick the painting

6 crucibles above campfires will comfortably fuel 18 blaze burners. You can get two boilers with up to 140,000 stress units per boiler this way.

A blaze burner generates heat even passively under a steam boiler, generating 2048su. It is the same as using a campfire in place of this burner, so there is no benefit in using an inacttive blaze burner in term of ressources

Did you supply it with a straw? One way to know is if it has the special hat. Or if you break it, it will give you the straw back.

You should put andesite casing on some wheels which it let you put wheels each others even its doesnt rotate in the same direction making your contraption more compact.
