bruh there is no way this farm is this productive and this easy to build, like all in all took me an hour, collecting materials, clearing land, and building the farm. I watched the gemini man and basically both my chests were full of slime balls.. like this is one level no fancy finding slime chunks, and just works so easily.. honestly appreciate it mate, great farm, puts out too many slime balls xD thank you very much mate!!

My favorite slime farm to build. I've built it on 3 separate servers, and 1.21 Java most recently. Works like a charm. I will say that standing at y=64 to place my first blocks I had to go to y=189 instead of 190. Could have been user error, but try dropping 1-2 blocks if you're not seeing drops! Excellent farm. If you're having problems with your iron golem dying from other mobs it's due to the glow lichen not fully hitting some corners, press f3 and find all those corners with 0 light and get rid of the spaded dirt path then place brown mushrooms where theres 0 light, reason being is brown mushrooms for some reason emits 1 small block of light. Slimes will spawn in any light but other mobs require 0 light to spawn. This will also massively increase your spawn rates cause it's no longer deciding whether it will spawn a mob there or not. It will then completely restrict any mobs spawning besides slime.

@@Germi123re if your farm isn't working, try lowering the afk platform. I had this issue that when the blobs was falling, they despawned and never reached the kill area.

after around 2-3 minutes of building the ladder pillar up to the afk place, i got 1 and a half stack of slime. they spawn even when your not at the afk place, fantastic work!

Great farm, realy useful, 1 small feedback tho. The farm AFK area is at Y - 190 and the minecart system is at 57, since minecarts are entities, the entity is not loaded if you actually AFK at 190 since it's more than 128 blocks aways from the player and most of the slime balls have despawned by the time you get down. The correction for me was to simply lower the AFK area to 186, which decreased the farms rates slightly because mobs now spawn at night. Still definetely not a reason to rebuild the farm but keep it in mind, great video other then that, keep up the excellent work!

When I first built it to spec I had about a dozen slime balls and no more. I realized those few came from when I had to stop a bit while building the afk tower. Chopped it down from the 190 to 160 and now the thing cranks out the slime. Not sure if the 190 was a mistake on the author's part or something is just set strangely on the server I'm on. So if your rates are low/non existent, I suggest trying lower afk platforms until it works.

for people who can't find an ordinary swamp biome: you can build the farm on a mangrove swamp biome. I built it there and it works perfectly fine! if you can't find the two swamps rip

tip: since 1.20.2 the slime seems to despawn when they are dropping to the death area just build the same kill area a few blocks higher and then the farm should working like normal edit: sry for my english it is my 2. languege

IF SLIME ARE NOT SPAWNING!! Built mine in Java 1.20.6 (Server) on top of a little lake (Swamp), had issues with no slime spawning after hours of AFK, changed AFK platform to Y-186 and and standing on magma cubes platform is on Y-60, works perfectly now. Btw is there any way of stopping Enderman from spawning and placing dirt?😂

Instead of using glow lichen i recommend using brown mushrooms and placing them on all the dirt. it makes it so only slimes can spawn and with the glow lichen mobs such as skeletons can spawn, which for me, killed my iron golem after afking for 10 minutes, despite getting 4 stacks of slime. hope this helps.

Your farm still produces nothing even if your iron golem doesn't get killed, and you lighted the whole neighboorhood ( or made a giant paddling pool around ), and you added brown mushroom every where, and when you go check your farm, you can hear those slime blocks jumping around ? If yes, lower your afk platform. I lowered mine at 184, and now I have two double chestwhich are filled with slime balls. What was happening ? My afk platform allowed the slime blocks to spawn in the spawn area, but as soon they jumped downstair, they despawned, because they was too far.

due to the light level. Mobs in 1.19+ can only spawn at light level 0. None of the spawning blocks are at light level 0. The minimum i think it is was 2 or 1

Did you mean to make the ceiling 3 blocks tall? I currently have a problem with endermen tping in and stealing the mushroom, making it possible for mobs to spawn and thus killing the iron golem. Looking at ilmango’s design, he makes it 2.5 blocks tall which would stop endermen from teleporting in. I’m gonna try that later and update this with the results

how do i prevent mobs from spawning in the farm? Cuz it is only spawning skeletons, creepers, zombies etc. but no slimes are spawned. (Also i built this on a multiplayer server if that helps)

one change i would make is to the map showing where to put lichen, the lichen blends into the rest of it and its difficult to see where to place it
