Just a tip about the strainers if you cant get tanks, is to use waterlogged leaves, they work as well :)

***Something for early game.*** Leaf blocks can be placed above a Wooden strainer and then water logged. Looks nicer than trapping water in with slabs and its cheaper than the strainer tank.

You should be able to replace the dirt in the botany pot for mulch as well

I know it's too late for it to matter. But you can usually use mini-coal in the furnace as fuel. When you can they usually have it set that 1 mini, will smelt 1 item since coal/charcoal is 8 items each
