Just wanted to come here to say that I put this next to my afk fishing spot and iron golem farm and it's been a great addition! The high plank/iron requirement can be nullified if you have an iron farm and plant bamboo along with the sugarcane! Thanks for the video it's been working wonderfully!

Hey i just built a much bigger version of this build on a server, (2x as big, 2 modules). works great and no flying machines means its nice on server resources & it works perfectly with great rates, Great stuff keep it up.

@@mazecraft9785 This is pretty good but I have a question, I assume this works with the minecart as well, seeing as so many hoppers are required, or is it just preference? Because otherwise, that's a lot of hoppers

This build is brutal on iron but the design is sick. I am going to stack another one on top once I afk at the iron farm another 24 hrs 😂

Unfortunately doesn’t work in bedrock, items don’t go through the mud. Update: bedrock now has the mud feature.

Yes, froglight do indeed can definetely will transmit redstone.

Shroomlight and Froglight are also good. They transmit Redstone power If you prefer to use Sea Lantern and Glowstone etc, it is also great to place them under the water line

It is certainly so I think that the minecart sometimes stopped when it came off the loading chunk. I made it as a solution to that I`m not sure if it may not happen anymore, so as you like it😅

Lower observer detects block update when the sugar cane grows to third block highth, downside facing observer detects "detection" and activates the pistons.

When the sugarcane its facing grows there is a block update, It detects that update. i know im a month late but i hope this helps lol

If you use dirt, the itemized sugarcanes will stay on the dirt Maybe you know this, but you can convert the dirt to mud easily by right clicking with water bottle
