Mobs will be updated here: -Goat=Mountain Goat (Mario Kart 7) -Glow Squid=Green Blooper Racer (Mario Sunshine) -Axolotl=Splounder (Super Mario 3D World) -Warden=Dry Bowser (New Super Mario Bros.) -Allay=Green Sprixie Princess (3D World) ----------------- Tadpoles seem loosely based off of Kleptoads from Super Mario Galaxy 2, but frogs don’t seem to be based off anything despite the Mario Odyssey frogs being a seemingly obvious choice. -Villagers have been changed. They are still Piantas, but with tweaked textures -Zombie Villagers are now Boomerang Bros. (SMB3). Prior to Caves and Cliffs Part I they were just different colored Bros. -I forgot the Arctic Fox, and as user ARI pointed out, it’s White Tanooki Mario from 3D Land.

I would have loved to have seen the Elder Guardian as the Cheap Chomp (the big purple fish that eats you), and the Tropical Fish as the Eep Cheeps (yellow Cheep Cheeps)

Press the plus button while hovering over Minecraft Bedrock on the Switch menu, there’s an option to update it. Console was left on 1.12 for Switch, 1.13 for Wii U, and an enigma for 3DS, so if you own one of those versions of the game you unfortunately cannot install the Nether Update.

That is because the Zoglin doesn’t represent anything in the Super Mario franchise, it is merely a pallet swap of the hoglin.

Sorry, but you don’t. It comes for free exclusively with Nintendo versions of Minecraft. This includes the Wii U, New 3DS, and Switch versions of console edition and the Switch version of Bedrock Edition. It can NOT be played on any other versions, and if someone on Switch Bedrock uses the texture pack than other people will not be able to join unless they are also on Switch Bedrock. So no matter what you are required to have a Nintendo Console with Minecraft to play with it.

Nintendo would have to allow that, but the pack is getting people to buy Minecraft on their consoles, and I’m pretty sure Nintendo gets a percentage of the money made, so they are making a profit. Getting it on another platform probably makes it so they can’t, so that’s probably why they aren’t doing it. The Halo texture pack was once Xbox exclusive but then moved to all platforms, but Microsoft owns the game so they make more money, while Nintendo would get no benefit to bringing their texture pack over. Had it been a full on Nintendo texture pack with multiple franchises like Zelda, Metroid, Animal Crossing, and more than maybe they would because it would get people to possibly be interested in buying a Nintendo Console, but since it’s Mario, and everyone already knows if Mario appeals to them it’s not going to get people to buy a Nintendo Console. There is fan made packs you can download, Albeit worse than the official. Download some add-on apps and put Mario in the search, hope this helps.
