Create is the mod that gives people what the game needs to play for longer and let your imagination fly. (Aside from builds that just need some decoration blocks and they are happy)

Try scorched guns 2. It's far more "minecraft styled", create compatible, and does more than just paint very sci-fi looking guns copper colored

@ incredibly. Both for survival and pvp right down to certain weapons having strengths and weaknesses against certain mobs and armors. Ironically there’s even counter measures for the mods more “creative” weapons. Like respirators for gas grenades.

@@Kerry_Kapoya in the example for the break barrel shotgun, there wouldn't be enough space for a reliable or functionally sound trigger assembly, the same applies to most of the other guns. there just wouldn't realistically be enough space to fit the internals (im not hating on the guns tho, those animations were satisfying asf)

​​@@Kerry_KapoyaDesign over function, I understand that here has to be design connection to create, so that's why there is so many gears on weapons and some even have steam engine, but practically wise it doesn't make that much of sense, in case with pump shotgun for example these gears atleast move when shooting meaning thats a part of reload mechanism, in other cases it's just decorative gears that doesn't have practical function, and steam engine on smg for example... what it does? I still have no idea of it's practical function. Again, I like the quality of animations and models, but I just can't see logic of some design choices, weapon mode in theme of Impresive engineering is masterpiece, because all of three: animations, models and design logic was great.

I thought it would be interesting if you not only required ammo but *stress* to fire rounds. Stress is simply stored kinetic energy. You can build it by either pumping the gun or by taking a source of stress and loading it in.

They’re fine but they have some problems like weirdly placed stuff to look cool, which only looks cool but is really weird to be there, like the steam engine on the flywheel. Also the sniper barrel is too short

Where are the pneumatic blunderbusses, four barrel pistols, tesla coil weapons that defy logic. Don't have to limit yourself to rather boring reskins of weapons that have been done 100 times
