If they do update it, I just hope they do it right like with the Nether and keep it feeling mystic. Personally, I think a really cool feature would be if it was all dead/ desolate before defeating the dragon and after “freeing” the end life will return to the end, adding to Minecraft’s lore.

I find it so weird that people will always say that The End should stay a desolate wasteland and that mods that add forests and water analogs don't fit the vanilla feel of the dimension. It's like they've forgotten what the Nether was like before its update. I mean yes The End is meant to be this fractured dimension ravaged by unforeseen forces but all you have to do is look at places like Greenland, Antarctica, and the badlands of America to realize that life can survive and even thrive in even the harshest of environments.

The end should feel unique and have its own atmosphere. The overworld, is well earth, the nether is hell like, while most end updates just make half the biomes dense lively forest. They look pretty but don’t feel like they’re something decaying and most times don’t even fell alien aside from oh look we made the trees blue. I mean it’s like these developers can’t comprehend you can make unique biomes that are still desolate and eldrich. I mean look at the like obsidian graveyard and dark end forest, they feel oppressive, desolate, and make it clear you do not belong. Then compare that unique ascetic to forest but blue, plains but blue, forest but yellow, and mushrooms. Also look at the most generic end ore that’s in almost every end mod. Enderite/enderium. It’s just netherite but stronger. I mean look what mojang did with netherite, the made the ore more unique than just a standard ore in you have to alloy and smithy it. Like what if we use the magical nature of the end and you need to process it in brewing stands and enchanting and for all that work you could say a powerful ability, like to give yourself a few seconds of levitation on a cool down to help stop you from falling and assend up to areas. Or the mods enhancement system that seems cool and unique but it actually non decision because of unbreaking and mending existing. It’s basically just enchanting but it’s not enchanting

Your idea for brewing the ore is actually really creative and I love it. My personal idea for the upgrade centered around shulker shells since they're stated to be strong in Minecraft dungeons and deflect projectiles when closed. I personally have absolutely zero ideas for end biomes except the end wilds from Minecraft dungeons. However, it's always bugged me that mods don't take the end's alien nature into account when making biomes they always go for a fores without making the trees alien or something like that

I feel like if they added half of the MCD's Echoing Void DLC to Minecraft, it would alredy be a perfect End Update. For those who don't know, the Echoing Void DLC adds to the End: - A purple-ish water that flows down to the void - A yellow grass block on Endstone - A purple grass block on Endstone - Yellow grass and vines - A purple wood that grows trees and yellow leaves, it kind of looks "down" (like a narcissus flower) - A new unnamed plant: Generates light, it grows in has two variants that grow in the purple-grass and yellow-grass - A new unnamed plant: Similar to the twisting vines, it grows in the yellow-grass - A new plant: Gloomstall, which apparently holds some sort of item inside it's fruits, grows in the purple-grass - A new plant: Venus Bear Trap, you can alredy imagine what it does, it grows in the purple-grass (this was actually a scrapped concept art) - New shapes and ways that Chorus Flowers and Chorus Fruits can generate - New glowy purple crystals (maybe some sort of new ore) And oh boy... That's just talking about the *environment* don't even get me started on the new Items, Mobs, etc...

If they were to revamp the Ender Dragon fight already, then what would be the purpose of no longer making it the final boss? Just make other bosses be the bosses you fight first, and then make the Ender Dragon the most powerful one. Also... I really hate the idea of giving the End lush plantlife. Its SUPPOSED to feel barren and desolate (its literally called "the End"). You can improve biomes and terrain _without_ adding a ton of plants you know (just look at the Basalt Deltas and Soul Sand Valley). I don't really agree with the "Better End" method of handling this dimension. They don't need "Enderite." Its a lazy copy of Netherite, and its just dumb. The most cliché idea ever... If they add ANY armor to the End, it should be its own unique thing, NOT an upgrade of Netherite, but rather a split alternate option with its own perks (for example, maybe it doesn't have burn immunity or knockback resistance, but instead reduces fall damage, or increases movement speed or something... some sort of attribute to make it unique). Whatever the End Update ends up being... It SHOULD NOT just be a blatant repeat of the Nether Update, and it needs to feel like vanilla. The ideas you suggested are straight up lifted from what mods have already done, and they don't fit Minecraft's vibe or style.

Exactly! People say that Mojang should do something similar to the Better End mod, but that doesn't fit the end at all. A better example of how the end update should be handled is the echoing void dlc for Minecraft Dungeons. It adds content to the end while also leaving intact its previous atmosphere, which is something that should be taken into account while developing an end update.

Yeah. The last thing we need is another Netherite. Although, the plant life thing could work to a certain extent. The end is sort of like the desert. Barren wasteland with *few* plants. All we need is just a plant or two, but not forests and trees. TBH, if they were to do it like the end mod, it would not only make that mod pointless, but it will pretty much be a copy of the nether update, and the nether update is too special to be copied.

Even if they only added the amount of content that the Nether Update added to the End, that’d still be a lot better than what we have now. For biomes, I think they should try to add 3-4 new ones at the least, and update the chorus plant forests we have now.

Some players still make multiple trips to the End though. They added stuff like Shulkers and Cities and that casts questions on what the limits actually are. I think redesigning the towers is a cool idea though. Being forced to approach each tower with a different strategy while making each tower look slightly different. I also like the idea if the dragon guarding it's egg as a reason for coming down. They could also add stuff from the April Fools Potato Update like new island designs and more loot like a successor to the Floatato.

What always makes me sad about these End Updates that we find in mods out there is that they always ignore the potential verticality of The End. Instead of different islands at the same height, just placing the islands at different heights would add much more richness to the dimension. Plus, it would make flying the End more exciting. Along with that, they should add things we need for Elytra in new structures. Like enchantment rooms, stores of gunpowder and paper, forges with anvils and grindstones, and perhaps even archeology systems. I agree with the idea of the End being a dead and devastated dimension. That's why more ruins and other content with Minecraft history should be added.

In the biomes you mentioned that has monsters and you shouldn't step foot in I have a few ideas Dark end islands -has some sort of mad endermen maybe they're faster with distorted enderman sounds A dark forest -maybe end witches and it's so dark all you hear is their. terrifying.. CACKLE Also add a half enderman half player as if they're the last ancient builders turning into endermen. A completely black player called a lost soul that moves around and hits you just like a zombie so we can have tht in the end These are only the ideas I came up with on the spot so if u want more I'm not gonna be one of those 5 year old skibidi toilet kid like beggars but if you reply saying if u want more, I'll brainstorm some more ideas Maybe they'll appear in another video who knows

Ooh what if the dark islands had black grass and trees and stuff so its really difficult to navigate and feels super eerie. And the enderman spawn rate is lower there but they're automatically aggroed instead of being neutral. So its this terrifying eldritch horror biome where you sneak through this pitch black forest...then you see the glowing eyes of an enderman and it starts charging toward you, the aggressive enderman sound starts playing and you gotta book it out of there as fast as possible.

I think Mojang should add an End Update, but than after that an update that overhauls the whole loot, because I think everything would be too much. The new loot should be made as a Magic update, I personally think that the enchantmants don't fit that well, because it's the only magic thing in Minecraft. Spell and things like the Spirit Ashes from Elden Ring, that way the magic part wouldn't be just a little extra, instead it would play a huge role and would give players new way to play the game

Idea for "enderite"/new end exclusive ore Floatstones spawn near the bottom of end islands, spawning more frequently in dark end islands. When broken by an end crystal, they drop 3-4 floatstone power which are crafted into floatstone gravel using 8 powder and one rare item (like an end catalyst or smth). This gravel is then brushed away, revealing a new Enderite ingot, which can be crafted with books creating enderite books, and then enchanted, granting many new end exclusive enchants. I don't want it into another tier of armor and tools, but a cool new optional advancement for players to mess with.

That's not how Minecraft updates usually work. If we end up getting an End Update at some point, the dimension will look the same but with a few enhancements. Furthermore, Better End mod and similar ones are not a good example of how Mojang may update The End in the future as they are far from a vanilla experience. These mods tend to add too many random stuff, such as Better Nether does. The Endergetic Expansion from TeamAbnormals is a better approach of how an small piece of an End Update concept could look. We will probably get new biomes, new enderman types, a new structure and maybe a new "postgame" boss or just an stronger mob with an special reward. Designs for biomes, structures or mobs could look similar to what we saw in Minecraft Dungeons.

There's an issue with updating the end. It's supposed to be where the ancient builders got trapped and turned to endermen if there were things like a wood that could be mined it could mess up the story. The end is supposed to make people go a little crazy with it's repetitiveness.

I honestly want an update similar to the bee update. However, instead of focusing on bug fixes, I'd love to see things like animations, particles, mob variations, and the headline of the update: seasons, where foliage changes colour per seasons, crop growth, exclusive plants and mobs in each season, and heaps more. It would also be cool if grass, ferns and flowers can grow naturally without bonemeal so you have to tend your lawns (can prob be a gamerule)

as cool as diverse and colourful alien biomes in the end can be, i feel like that just completely misses the point of the end like, sure, add new biomes and structures actually, PLEASE add new biomes and structures, but it doesn't have to be brimming with life and completely unlike the current design for the end if someone's vision for an end update is "new big trees, op ore stronger than netherite and a new civilisation mob" then you just want the nether update but with different textures the end is unique from the other biomes and it should stay like that, the desolate nature of it can be expanded on and mojang doesn't have to completely get rid of it

Even if they don't replace the dragon as the final boss, I still think that you shouldn't spawn into the dragon fight. Rather, one should generate per-end, and you should have to find it while traveling through the new end biomes. Also, I love the idea of the dragon guarding the egg in the center of the battle. That would add lore and logic to the fight.

I think making the ender dragon not be the final boss is a really bad idea. Since the game's release, the goal of the game has always been to kill the ender dragon. I do think it could use a rework though. Firstly, I think it is a good idea to not spawn you directly on the central island. You should have to work your way towards it, maybe with mini challenges on your journey to it. It doesnt have to be long, but I think it would make the fight feel more significant if there was a buildup to it. I think the elytra should be something you get here and get to use during the fight rather than something you can only get after it. And, of course, you can skip the entire buildup and get straight to the fight if your creative and have the materials, but you'd be missing out on the elytra, giving players an incentive to progress the "intended" way. Second, revamps to the actual fight. Keep the general sequence the same: destroy end crystals and then take on the dragon. But make it feel cooler. Firstly, the dragon doesnt attack immediately. It circles high above the island, regenerating from the end crystals so the player cant kill it early. When the player takes the egg, thats when the fight starts. Instead of building up to the pillars, have the player use the elytra to fly around, dodging the dragon's aerial attacks while they take out the crystals. Then, once all the crystals are gone the dragon will be forced to heal at its nest, making it fly down lower and giving the player a chance to attack it from the ground as it gets in close to heal. When it does come down, make the nest start spawning a new baby dragon mob that swarms the player and tries to keep it away from the dragon. The player has to fight their way toward the nest to deliver the final blows while fending off the baby dragons. Once you manage to get the dragon down to zero, it explodes as usual and opens the final portal.

I dont think the enderdragon should be replaced but rather make it feel endgame by making it harder and tougher to defeat than the past by giving it new attacks and challenges. Since the dragon being replaced would spark controversy. Instead there should be a boss before the ender dragon to prepare the player for what comes after when they step in the portal. And another thing is they need to add more dungeons in the overworld since the portal does have potential of adding new eyes of ender variants into the portal. Which makes progression harder and better which allows the player to have new tasks. And by dungeons i mean the ones corresponding by which eye of ender came from Like a water eye of ender from a water dungeon Fire eye of ender already exists Earth eye of ender from a forest temple And a wind eye of ender which the breeze has the potential for this in the trial chambers

Your idea seems to forget that Minecraft is a building game where you have to manage resources. You’re just copying and pasting ideas from the game’s RPG styled spinoff. They definitely shouldn’t replace the Ender Dragon as the final boss, but they should definitely enhance her island, and maybe give us the option to buff her via ominous events. I think they also really need to enhance Nether fortresses and strongholds, as these are the only two structures you absolutely have to go to to beat the game. The main challenge before the final boss should still be going to those two structures and getting the eyes of Ender, not sifting through the outer End. And, that doesn’t even factor in to the rest of my ideas with new biomes, mobs, postgame bosses (that are meant to be fought after the dragon, but not as the definitive final boss), brewing, etc.

They should give the Ender Dragon a buff plus a better mechanic to finish it off. Not to mention new biomes that are even more enjoyable than The Nether, an immaculate map is what The End deserves after all. without defeating the ender dragon they'll have to revamp the whole story of minecraft so i think they should just add more things to the fight other than just whacking it till its dead and breaking the crystals. They should also make it look better like the warden because the dragon has had the same look for years and it needs a glow up.

i just feel that they need to add other types of enderman and add beautiful new biomes and update the dragon boss a bit and the egg specially since everyone loves dragons :) like adding ways to complete the last of the game being at the end even a very cool passive way making friends with this amazing dragon and it's egg

Would be cool once you go to the end you can’t leave it once you killed the ender dragon which opens up the portal back to the overworld. Which could also encourage People to make a Base or House in the End because of that. The end could be its own little journey that could take hours. Which personally I don’t mind. I still think The Ender dragon should still be the Final boss. Maybe Revamp it a bit. I don’t mind Mini bosses scattered around the end islands tho

This is WAY too much content for them to release. If, and I mean IF, this was in the making by mojang, then it would probably take the next 5 years of updates to complete. Not for lack of development either, it is to make money and make sure there is still content to release.

Nether update did improved Nether a lot, but it had not revamped it. Nether is still a dimension you need to go to to get to the End, an unnerving place where you cant build a home. Same thing needs to be done to End. End is empty void where player is... it just doesnt feel like a place for a home like it became with better end... End must still be a void-lke dimension where player wouldnt want to build a house. If I recall correctly, the lore of minecraft says that an ancient civilisation that build all structures like pyramid, temple etc was trapped here and endermen is what they became. Then why not make an End full of some great structures full of new puzzles, mechanisms and stuff? Improve not only End, but the redstone too! Also, Ender dragon not being a final boss is a no. Its a symbol of the game, the End, all that stuff you've gone trough was for it! However, we can improve the dragon, making it a MUCH stronger foe to fight: increase its health, add ton of new attacks, new phases, etc. BUT. Lets leave it for devs to decide, 1.16 is GOAT update, and I dot think they'll mess up with End.

the ancient builders ARE NOT the endermans, the jeb book disproves that theory, endermans are actually creatures from the void. And they're objective is actually to make the overworld collapse by removing every single one of it's blocks until It crumbles.

I personally think that the end should be handled as 'trick AND treat'. I like your idea of an end unique liquid, end unique fishes, end unique slimes and that the dragon is defending its nest. But I disliked everything else. The structures and biomes you showed would - in my opinion - not let 5 year old kiddos think that they can build it cooler.

I feel like ender dragon not being the final boss is a pretty bad idea. First, speed running the game would be a nightmare with the new end. Second, the end would be completely different. Life for example, mojang changed the nether, but the basic idea of being a red lava place with you having to find a nether fortress remained the same. I feel like you are changing it too much.

as much as i want to improve the End, i'd rather improve the Overworld - or more specifically, what lives in it. it feels... empty, to me. i'm just going to dump everything; and it's A LOT! i'll be dividing it into mutliple parts: Animals, Equipment, Monsters, Mob Fortress & Miscellaneous, and Bosses. NOTE: let's pretend Minecraft will become a movie or TV series: i'll be viewing it through the lense of an actual world; an ecosystem. and more importantly, *everything is based on the question "how would Mojang make it?"* i'm suggesting they take existing models, and tweak them. *ANIMALS* DEER: a peaceful mob, and the much-needed wild animal for the woods (feral livestock isn't enough), and something for Wolves and other mobs to hunt. *biomes:* Forest, Flower Forest, Birch Forest, Dark Forest, Swamp, Taiga, Mega-Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Grove, Cherry Grove, Meadow, Savannah. *drops:* Leather, Deer Meat. SEAL: a peaceful mob; something for the Polar Bear to hunt... but can be tamed as a pet, which can be healed with Salmon or Cod. *biomes:* Frozen Ocean, shores of cold biomes. *drops:* Seal Fur. *items crafted:* Sealskin Coat. WHALES: a peaceful mob, they only serve the purpose of bringing variety to the oceanic biomes. *"species":* Blue Whale. ZEBRA: a peaceful mob spawning in the Savannah. drops the same material as the Horse; but unlike it, the Zebra cannot be tamed. MONKEY: a peaceful mob from the Jungle biome, something to give it more life - and something for the Ocelot to hunt. LEOPARD: a neutral mob, and the more likely to encounter, compared to the Lion and the Tiger. it either prowls on the ground, or lurks in the trees; hunts Deer, Boars, Sheep and Pigs. its roar isn't as powerful as a Lion's, but be careful, regardless - espescially when it can pounce from above. *biomes:* Forest, Birch Forest, Dark Forest, Savannah, Cherry Grove, Taiga and Mega-Taiga (ever heard of the Amur Leopard?). *variant:* Snow Leopard. spawns in Snowy Taiga, Windswept Forest, Windswept Hills, Gravelly Hills, Snowy Slopes, Stony Peaks, Grove occasionally in the Meadow biomes. hunts Deer, Boars, Sheep, Pigs, Rabbits and Goats. TIGER: a neutral mob that basically serves the same niche as the Lion; hunting Cows, Deer and Boars. its roar is stronger than the Lion's, so watch out. seeing as it shares 2 biomes with the Lion, they will fight each other in a 1v1 brawl, if the Lion's alone. *biomes:* Bamboo Jungle, Jungle, Sparse Jungle, Cherry Grove, Taiga, Mega-Taiga and Snowy Taiga.

*EQUIPMENT* *Sealskin Coat:* made from Seal Fur. protects you from Frostbite; very useful against deep snow and 2 monsters. *Tail Flail:* so... ever heard that the new weapon, the Mace, is coming? let me introduce the Tail Flail. made by combining the Mace with a Chain, and there'd be a new waist slot, next to the off-hand slot, for that weapon. it'll be like having an actual tail! to use it, just rapidly tilt the right stick in a direction - or spin it around for a 360! *Satchel:* i once suggested adding the Backpack, but given the waist slot i've come up with, why not change it into the Satchel? it'd be crafted with 5 Leather placed the same way you place Wood Planks to make a Boat, and an Iron Nugget in the top-centre, as the button that keeps it closed. *Milk Bottle:* a new healing item made by combining the Milk Bucket with Empty Bottles; and it stacks (you keep the Bucket). like with the Milk Bucket, it removes any effect, positive or negative; but it also restores 2 Hunger and 4 Hearts. variant: Chocolate Milk. obtained by combining a Milk Bottle with Chocolate - also stackable. *Fire/Ice Potion:* these potions made from the Fire/Ice Sac - i'll get to their owners later - and let you breathe fire/ice. *Pyromancer Potion:* crafted using a Salamander/Dragon Heart (i'll get into it in the "Monsters" section), this potion lets you breathe fire, and grants you Fire Protection for a long period of time. *Scalemail Chestplate:* a set of armour made from Dragon Scales. depending on the Dragon, it increases the resistance to Fire/Frostbite damage, and provides as much protection as an Iron Chestplate. *Bomb:* the classic black ball with a fuse on top; made by encasing Gunpowder in 3 Iron Nuggets, and String on top. it has the damage output and blast radius as the TNT Block, but cannot destroy blocks. *Club:* dropped by Trolls, it can be repaired with Wood and Wood Planks, depending on the type the Club is made of. when combined with Troll Teeth, it becomes a Spiked Club. *Serpent Arrows:* crafted with Sea Serpent Teeth, this Arrow type is made for usage underwater, as any other arrow doesn't travel far. *Snakeskin Helmet and Boots:* made with Sea Serpent Skin. the helmet lets you breathe underwater indefinitely, while the boots let you swim faster. *Scorpion Tail:* dropped by Giant Scorpions, this can be made into 2 weapons: one is right below, the other is... the item itself. it can be equipped onto the waist slot, and has a chance to poison the target. *Stinger Spear:* made with 2 Sticks and a Scorpion Tail, this thrusting weapon has a chance of poisoning the target, while its reach keeps said foe at a distance. *Thunderbird Feather:* this feather can be used to brew Slow Falling Potions - no need for Phantoms. but it can also be used to summon lightning bolts during a storm - just don't hit a Skeleton; it'll turn into a Skeleton Horseman. *SILVER* Silver Ore is a new ore type that's as rare as Diamond, and with good reason. 2 weapons can be crafted with this ore: *Silver Arrows* - made by combining an Arrow with 2 Silver Nuggets on a Smithing Table. they can kill monsters in 2 or 3 shots; and if the Bow has Power 5, they deal significant damage to Boss Mobs. *Silver Sword* - made by combining an Iron Sword with 2 Silver Ingots on a Smithing Table. while it deals normal damage to animals, Illagers and Villagers, it's more effective on monsters - as strong as an Iron Sword with Sharpness 2/3; and if enchanted with Sharpness, it can only go up to Sharpness 1/2. should the Silver Sword run out of durability, it'd revert back to an Iron Sword, but with half its durability, so make sure you repair it before using 2 Silver Ingots on the Smithing Table.

*MONSTERS* WYVERN: an airborne mob that soars the skies in search of prey. it spits venom, bring a shield. *biomes:* Forest, Flower Forest, Birch Forest, Swamp, Stony Peaks, Gravelly Hills, Windswept Hills, Windswept Forest, Meadow, Grove, Taiga, Mega-Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Savannah. *drops:* Venom Gland; for brewing potions and crafting Poison Arrows. *physical description:* uses the Phantom's model; it's 1.5 times bigger than a Phantom, has a longer tail, has the head of the Snake, can open and close its mouth, has the Ender Dragon's wings, and the Chicken's legs. it's either green or black. GIANT SCORPION: as the name suggests, it's a large version of the Scorpion. with larger claws and more potent venom, this is a monster to be wary of even when it hasn't spotted you. even Spiders avoid it - hell, it HUNTS them! *biomes:* Desert, Badlands. *drops:* Scorpion Tail; for potions, Poison Arrows and Stinger Spear, or equip on waist slot. COCKATRICE: a hostile mob that manily stalks woodland. it can fly, but only for short distances, to either to get away when its health is low, or when pouncing on you. it attacks by pecking, as well as breathing a new projectile attack: the Toxic Fireball. when it explodes, it leaves behind a poisonous cloud. *biomes:* any biome the Zombie, Skeleton, Spider and Creeper spawn in. it's meant to be a common mob. *drops:* Venom Gland and Fire Sac. *physical description:* uses the Chicken model. the Chicken body is as big as 1 block. add the head and legs, and it reaches the player's shoulder in height (excluding the crest). it can open and close its beak, it has the Ender Dragon's tail (proportionally big and long) but green and no spines, and it has a red crest on its head. when spewing a Toxic Fireball, the wattle on its neck first expands, then contracts upon firing. it can be white, brown, yellow or black, sometimes with patterns. UKTENA: a large, venomous snake with horns, a spiked rattle on its tail and a crystal on its forehead, which it drops upon being slain. it's the enemy of the Thunderbird. *biomes:* Badlands, Wooded Badlands, Eroded Badlands. *drops:* Emerald, Diamond. THUNDERBIRD: this giant Eagle rules the skies of its biome, searching for food or intruders. it's a mini boss. it'll ram into you, carry you high to drop you and summon lightning to kill you. *biomes:* Badlands, Eroded Badlands. *drops:* Thunderbird Feather; for Slow Falling Potion, or to summon lightning during storms. *physical description:* an Eagle that is 3 blocks tall, with a white head. SNOW WASSET: a giant Weasel that lays hidden under deep snow, waiting for prey to get close. once it grabs you, it'll retreat under the snow and let Frostbite finish the job. *biomes:* any biome covered in snow. it can be fished out by combining a Fishing Rod with Raw Rabbit. *physical description:* a white Weasel, the body of which is 3 blocks long, and the tail - which has a black tip - is 2 blocks long. its jaws open in a similar fashion to the Enderman's mouth. MONSTRALOTL: a large, monstrous version of the Axolotl. brown or moss green in colour, it lurks under the water, waiting for it chance to gobble you up. it attacks by biting and spitting mucus at you, but can also use its long tongue to pull you towards it. *biomes:* Swamp, Mangrove Swamp, Dripstone Cave and Lush Cave (if there's large pool sof water - which should be added). *physical description:* uses the Axolotl model, but it doesn't have gills (those 6 frills on the Axolotl) and it can open its mouth. KRAKEN: a giant, monstrous version of the Squid that attacks boats, using its tentacles to latch on and attempt to grab you. it can also squirt pressurized ink to attack you at range. *biomes:* any ocean biome. *drops:* Ink Sac, Kraken Meat. *physical description:* uses the Squid model, but it's 2 times bigger; its tentacles are strings of individual blocks (like the Ender Dragon's tail), allowing it to grab things. it's red. TROLL: a meat-eating monster that bears an eerie resemblance to a Villager. sometimes wields a club, which it can drop. *biomes:* Forest, Flower Forest, Birch Forest, Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Mega-Taiga, Dark Forest, Gravelly Hills, Windswept Hills, Windswept Forest, any cave biome (except Deep Dark). *drops:* Meat Stew, Club (if the Troll was wielding one), Troll Teeth - latter two can be combined to make a Spiked Club. *physical description:* exactly like the Iron Golem - same size as it, too - but it's flesh and blood; wears a brown or green tunic. DRAGON: the Overworld version of the Ender Dragon - about time we'd get it. it's a mini boss, and one you'd be wise to avoid unless prepared. its fiery breath will turn you to ash (but not the forest); and its Fireballs, while they won't destroy blocks or burn the forest, will explode on impact and cause knockback. it can also land and try to bite you or strike you with its tail. *biomes:* Forest, Flower Forest, Plains, Sunflower Plains, Birch Forest, Swamp, Taiga, Mega-Taiga, Meadow, Savannah, Savannah Plateau, Windswept Savannah, Gravelly Hills, Windswept Hills, and Windswept Forest. *physical description:* if the Ender Dragon was half the size, breathes fire, and was green or red. *drops:* Dragon Scales, Fire Sac, Dragon Heart (again, i'll get into it). *variant:* Ice Dragon. this variation is either blue or white and breathes ice, as its name suggests. the breath causes Frostbite, while the Frostball (its projectile attack) also leaves behind small icicles that damage you when stepped on. spawns in any cold biome, as well as Taiga, Mega-Taiga, Gravelly Hills, Windswept Hills, Windswept Forest and Meadow. WYRM: a monster that is 21 blocks long and 1.5 blocks wide. while you're faster than it, the monster breathes fire and spits Fireballs. your only hope of standing a proper chance is a Shield. *biomes:* the exact same as the Salamander's. *drops:* Dragon Scales and Fire Sac. *physical description:* i was inspired to create it when i saw this (the Lavaworm, specifically) www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fexternal-preview.redd.it%2FxP_9G4hEv9Dxp9tGtoCGoq5R1hhBXBXZh-IyNeEmngk.jpg%3Fauto%3Dwebp%26s%3D2255e0ab21ed24f29dafa821d3ec1cf95d4871d2 its body is the tail segments of the Ender Dragon, 14 of them (head included), each 1.5 blocks wide. the 21 blocks of length include the head, which is also the Ender Dragon's (horns included; the body segments don't have spines). the head - excluding the snout - is also 1.5 blocks tall and 1.5 blocks wide, and is counted as the first of the 14 body segments, making the beast reach the length of 21 blocks. its colours are green, yellow, indigo or orange. it'd also has the Frog's legs - because i want it to (no ifs or buts); from head (which is body segment N.1) to tail, the hind limbs are on the 8th body segment, while the front limbs are on the 4th segment. *explanation:* the Wyrm is conceptually the same as the Salamander. ideally, i'd love it if both the Salamander and Wyrm were in the game... but this monster was created in case the Salamander, Firespitter and Great Wyrm prove themselves too much work for Mojang. because the Pyromancer Potion's existance depends on the Salamander's, i've decided to add the Dragon Heart - only dropped by the Dragon - as a replacement, just in case the Salamander and its variants are too much work for Mojang.

*MOB FORTRESS* the Mob Fortress, appearance-wise, is if the Stronghold was on the surface, and was a proper fort, merlons (those tooth-like protrusions you typically see on castles) and all; and its insides are like that of the Trial Chambers, with similar mechanics. it's made of Polished Andesite, Andesite Walls, Stone Bricks, Mossy Stone Bricks, Cobblestone and Stone. it's filled with arrow traps like in the Jungle Temple, but also lava pit traps, Splash Poison Potion traps; and a (mercifully) few Infested Blocks; and like the Nether Fortress, several powerful mobs lurk within its walls: - Undead (Zombies, Mini Zombies, Zombie Villagers, Skeletons). - Illagers (Pillagers, Vindicators, Witches, Illusioners, Iceologers, and Evokers). - Silverfish; because of the Infested Blocks. - Spiders; including the smaller - and venomous - Cave Spiders. - Jockeys. - Slimes. - Breezes. - Cockatrices. - Wyrms; arguably the most dangerous mob in the fortress, be it within its walls or outside. the fortress has 1 or 2 courtyards. the following mobs spawn there: - Undead. - Illagers. - Jockeys (Mini Zombie Jockeys have a chance to spawn riding a Cockatrice). - Skeleton Horsemen. - Ravagers. - Trolls. - Wyverns; but be warned: they sometimes spawn inside the Mob Fortress (there's enough space); and they can walk just fine - and not air-locked like the Ender Dragon. - Salamanders/Wyrms - arguably the most dangerous mob in the fortress' courtyards. the Wyrm would also spawn INSIDE the fortress. the Mob Fortress has a procedurally generated layout, and you must fight your way through monsters. each zone has a small room at the end, which houses a mini boss (the Salamander/Wyrm would replace the Dragon), and will drop a Dungeon Key to unlock the next room. after defeating the boss, you're rewarded with the Treasure Key, which opens the Dungeon Chest (a unique large chest). it's content is mostly Emeralds and some Gold bars and nuggets. it also contains Iron-to-Diamond weapons and Leather-to-Gold armour (Chainmail included). rarely, one or two things will be enchanted, along with an Enchanted Book. the Mob Fortress is meant to be the ultimate challenge in the Overworld that can be challenged indefinitely, once per in-game day; and the Warlock (whom i'll get into later) is meant to be the ultimate Boss Mob (besides the Ender Dragon). *MISCELLANEOUS* - the addition of the Fox and Rabbit to the following biomes: Forest, Flower Forest and Birch Forest. particularly the former. it already has the Wolf, and it'd have the Deer, the Boar, the Bear, the Lion, the Leopard and the Weasel; typical animals you'd find in a forest... but the Fox and the Rabbit, which are also forest animals, aren't present. - ambient sounds such as birds chirping and crickets in the evening and night. - mob variations. the Sheep, Rabbit and Horse have varying colours, why not the Cow, Pig, Chicken and Llama? and perhaps there's more which could use them. - the Birch Forest biome would look like this www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/q9gag2/birch_forest_concept_art/#lightbox Mojang originally intended to overhaul it like that in 1.19, but cancelled it. hopefully, we'll get the improved Birch Forest in a future update. - the Swamp biome would look like this www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/swampier-swamps right now, the biome only sometimes resembles an actual swamp. we need this. - the Forest and Dark Forest biomes would have an understorey (grass, flowers, bushes). even with the animals and monsters livening them up, they'd still feel empty. - the addition of most of the mobs that didn't win the Mob Votes like the Rascal and the rest of the mobs from the 2017 vote. - the Wyvern and the Cockatrice are common mobs that spawn anywhere the Zombie, Skeleton, Spider and Creeper spawn in. - all the monsters i've come up with can spawn during the day, under the sun. - the Salamander, Dragon, Firespitter, Nether Dragon and Wyrm (i'll get to it later) would be immune to fire damage - even lava. arrows fired from a Bow with the Flame enchantment will bounce off; weapons with Fire Aspect will do reduced damage. - Village Guards. Villages have a Blacksmith, but beyond us players, who's using the weapons he makes? the mod packs have Guards, so why not put them in Vanilla Minecraft? and the Golem cannot hope to protect the village all by himself. - villages would be in a square or rectangular formation, because they'd be encircled within a wall of Stone and Cobblestone tha is 2 blocks thick, with 2 block wide merlons (the tooth-like things on castle walls). should the player be afflicted by the Bad Omen effect, Wave 1 would spawn Ravagers - the only mob that can break through the wall. there'd be 2 ways into the Village: a couple of Iron Doors. along with Guards, the very least the game could have, is walls to keep monsters out of villages. - the Guards would have their own structure in the village: the Keep. there's 8 Guards total; 4 would work the day shift, the other 4 take the night shift. should intruders approach, all 8 would be deployed. - a Chief. i know why there's Sheep and Cows in the Village... but should there be a pen with a Horse in it, who's using said Horse? and who's keeping the peace and leading the Guards in the Village? the Chief is my answer to those questions. he would live inside the Keep, along with the Guards; he'd wear a Chainmail Shirt and a Golden Helmet that resembles a crown, and he'd wield an Iron Sword and Shield - all 4 items would be enchanted. - the Ravager and the Creeper are the only mobs that can destroy Village walls; while the Cockatrice and Wyvern can just fly over them (Dragons too, but they'd rarely spawn next to a Village). - Chocolate. we have Cocoa Beans, but they're only good for Cookies? let me add the food item you'd expect to make with them. and with the addition of Chocolate, there'd also be the Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Milk and Chocolate Cookies. - the addition of Fried Egg and Pancakes. both would be food items made from the egg - the Pancakes being a combo of Egg, Wheat and Milk. - the addition of Ham and Sausages, made from Raw Pork Chop. - the addition of Lettuce. - combining the Bowl with Lettuce, Carrots and Potatoes will make Salad. - Cheese, made from the Milk Bucket. - Meat Stew, the new food item dropped by the Troll. it's made by combining the Bowl with Raw Deer Meat, Raw Steak, Raw Pork Chop (the Boar drops it too) and Raw Rabbit. - combining Bread with Cooked Steak will make the Roast Beef Sandwich. - combining Bread, Ham and Lettuce will make the Sandwich. - combining Bread and a Cooked Sausage will result in the Hot Dog. - combining Baked Potatoes with Steak, Sausages or Fish in a Bowl will result in... Steak & Potatoes, Sausages & Chips and Fish & Chips. - a waist slot. it's like the off-hand slot, but for the waist. the waist slot is next to the off-hand slot. it's for 2 items: the Tail Flail and the Satchel (which i'll get to in the Equipment list). - stackable Potions and Milk Bottles (Chocolate variant, too); but only stack up to 4. - new Capes, and all of them would be free. and especially, a customizable Cape (also free) for character creation. the only Cape available on the Switch (let alone for free) is the Pancape... why is there only 1 Cape!?

*BOSSES* PIGLIN KING: this boss is an overweight version of the Piglin Brute, and only spawns in Bastion Remnants. he wears a Golden Helmet and Chestplate, and wields either a Golden Axe or Sword, plus a Crossbow - all would be enchanted; and dons a red cape *drops:* Enchanted Golden Axe or Sword; Enchanted Crossbow; Fire Protection Potion; Arrows; Enchanted Golden Helmet or Chestplate; Netherite Scrap. *physical description:* Piglin Brute, but larger (2 times bigger) and has a round body, plus a discernable Boar tail. SEA SERPENT: a proper boss for the oceanic biomes. the Sea Serpent resides in the deeper biomes, and can only be summoned with a special bait: Kraken Meat, hooked to a Fishing Rod. melee combat is a last resort, and ill-advised too boot; shoot it with arrows! but it can knock you off the Boat and into the sea; where it can take a bite out of you, or spit an explosive bubble. *drops:* Sea Serpent Skin, Sea Serpent Teeth. *physical description:* it has the Snake's head, with ear frills; and has Ender Dragon's tail segments - which have no spines. it's longer than the Ender Dragon, at 40 blocks in length, because each body segment is 2 blocks tall and 2 blocks wide. GREAT WYRM: this boss is an abnormally large Salamander that lived long enough to reach an immense size (15 blocks, fully stretched), and survived many battles. it spawns in the same areas a regular one would, but it only spawns in the biomes with enough space for it to fit like the Plains, Swamp, and in spacious caves. if you think a regular Salamander is destructive, then you haven't seen anything yet! hotter fire, and deadlier melee blows; if you're going melee, you're bringing a Shield, no excuses (not that fighting without a Shield against any mob with ranged attacks is a smart idea)! else you get sent flying or incinerated in 2 shots! and for goodness sake, bring a Bow or Crossbow! ah, yes... because of its age and battle prowess, it's also cunning. *drops:* Salamander Heart. *physical description:* a Salamander that is 15 blocks long, when fully stretched. its colour is red, indigo or black. its existance depends on the Salamander's. NETHER DRAGON: remember the Red Dragon? a legend in the Minecraft community... and now, meet the Nether Fortress' new boss! so remember the Warden? the Nether Dragon's Fireballs can one-shot you, too. and the fire breath isn't to be underestimated, either: 6.5 to 7 hearts of damage; if the blast won't kill you, then burning will. *drops:* doesn't drop anything, but it does reward you with a chest. filled with gold, 1 or 2 potions and Enchanted Books, and some Netherite Scrap. the chest can only be opened with the Nether Dragon's defeat. *tangent:* i'll try to overhaul the Ender Dragon, too: instead of Obsidian pillars, it's Obsidian pillars inside towers. the battle takes place in a ruined Blackstone castle. the Dragon Fireball does more damage, and the dragon will sweep the area with the breath attack. it'll also land and try to bite you or slap you with its tail... it's also smarter. it'll use its breath attack inside the openings of the castle to flush you out, destroy walkways to cut off your path, and flood the area with Dragon's Breath. and there might be a few more tricks! THREE-HEADED DRAGON: i was inspired by the Hydra from the Twilight Forest mod. once summoned, he'll take flight and bombard you with Fireballs from all 3 of his heads - not that he needs to stay airborne. he can kill you just fine while on the ground: his fiery breath is the strongest in the Overworld (not counting the Soul Fire attacks of the Warlock's dragon form). all 3 heads can move independently (the middle one's the one in charge), meaning that he can be focused on your teammate, and one of them can turn around and shoot a Fireball at you. and you can't sever any of the heads; you're stuck with all 3 until you slay the dragon. a Shield in mandatory; good luck, because you'll NEED it! biomes: he spawns in a cave, found in the mountainous biomes the Dragon (fire-breather) spawns in; he can be summoned with Meat Stew. *drops:* Dragon Heart. *physical description:* about 1.5 times larger than the Ender Dragon, but his 3 heads and necks are the same size as the Ender Dragon's. he's green with dark green wings, and his horns and spines are white. *explanation:* if the Wyrm is the substitute for the Salamander, should the latter prove too hard to implement, then the Three-Headed Dragon is the substitute of the Great Wyrm. (warrants its own section) WARLOCK: he's the king of the Mob Fortress, and bears the title of "Lord of Monsters". he's an Illager who rose through the ranks through hard work. *drops:* the Treasure Key, for the Dungeon Chest. *physical description:* the Evoker, but with an indigo robe, and a purple cape with white spots. let's get to the fight; Phase 1: you fight the Warlock in his study room. like the Evoker, he can summon jaws from the ground and Vexes from thin air; like the Illusioner, he can turn himself invisible; like the Iceologer, he can also summon blocks of ice to crush you. on top of that, he can throw Fireballs! and as if all that wasn't enough, he can change into ANY mob he chooses! be it Animal or Monster, he can change into EVERY LAST ONE! and that's just Phase 1... at half health, Phase 2 begins: he'll change into an indigo Dragon with yellow wings (not the membranes), as big as the Ender Dragon. he breathes Soul Fire and spits Soul Fireballs, and both deal Magic AND Fire Damage. now, the battle takes place atop the fort's main keep. he'll circle it, spitting Soul Fireballs and sweeping Soul Fire breath as he strafes, and will sometimes land to get in a bite or tail strike. you defeated him? you have... *for now.* once you leave, the Mob Fortress becomes inaccessible until he respawns, and will be ready after 3 in-game days. the Mob Fortress is meant to be challenged as many times as you wish. i repeat what i've said before: the Mob Fortress is meant to be the Overworld's ultimate challenge; and the Warlock, the Overworld's ultimate boss mob. final note: all Bosses can be challenged again, indefinitely. what's the point of a boss, if you can't challenge it again?
