Minecraft has a lot of elements that make it special. Whether it be items, building, combat, mining or whatever else, Minecraft has a lot of content to make the game as good as it is. One of the biggest things that help make the minecraft world feel alive are the countless mobs in the game. Currently there are 75 mobs in minecraft, including it’s bosses. Today I want to rank all 75 minecraft mobs from the worst to the best based on how useful they are and how much I like them in general!

THEY DEAL HALF YOUR HEALTH WITH A TRIDENT(atleast without armor) so you usually dont want to attack them unless you really want a trident

another feature, that I personally love with the fox. If you have any fox babies, they grow up trusting you, and in turn will attack any mob that attacks you if they're nearby. So if you have, lets say, a breeding farm of over 100 of them.. the moment a spider attacks you once, there is suddenly over 100 foxes jumping the fence to attack it.

As a bedrock player, striders are so important. Since Nether Fortresses are 2x as rare, they rarely spawn near the player. Using striders can make it so much easier to find Fortresses. Edit: With the addition of netherite upgrade templates, striders are even more useful! You need to find lots of bastions if you are unlucky like me.

Honestly the lava Strider should be significantly higher. Having that method of fast-travelling across huge lava oceans when you don't have an Elytra is a godsend if you're looking for bastions and fortresses. They really speed things up.

@groshomme3528 The thing is, Lava Strider travel is a lot safer than bridging over the lava oceans, and it's much easier to pivot into different directions of travel than bridging. This is especially true with Ghasts being a huge problem when bridging in the nether.

I would like to defend mules. The reason you haven’t seen them in game is because you must cross breed horses and donkeys to get them. They essentially get the bonuses of both. They can have horse armor and chests, as well as some of the speed of horses. Though a pain to get, they can be quite helpful.

It's not that great though, first you have to set up the building, making the snow golem turn into a stationary turret, and the worst of all it does not protect the snow golem from ranged retaliation, though they are cheap it's still just a hastle to rebuild them only to lose against a skeleton.

I personally hate the vex redesign. The only thing it has going for is its bigger ties to the allay, but the fact that they're both ghost-like creatures that can be found in woodland mansions is already enough for me. Otherwise, this redesign completely ruined everything the old vex design did well. I know some people think it looked like a weird reskin of Steve, but I think it had good things going for it, like its creepy evil smile and the head being smaller in comparison to the rest of the body. The new design threw both of these things (and probably more) away, making the vex look more like an angry puppy than an evil ghost.

I think you should have mentioned the intricacies of Piglin behavior. The have bartering, the dislike Wither Skeletons and fight them on sight, they will occasionally team up and hunt hoglins, and very rarely they will do a dance after a successful hunt.

You left out the worst part of the Drowned: If you don’t have really good armor and weapons yet, fighting a trident Drowned is SO HARD. Even if you’re not actively seeking them out to get their tridents, you’re gonna end up fighting one if you explore the ocean at all. It’s a really annoying barrier to ocean travel unless you’re in the late game.

I was basically softlocked out of my base on one of my first survival playthroughs because of a Drowned with a trident who had killed me basically at my doorstep. Wouldn't despawn in the water and all my weapons and goodies were out of reach. And I'm on Java so this was very unlucky.

Every time I see a complaint about the phantoms, I've never heard anyone ever bring up that they only spawn after 3 days, which is roughly an hour, and gives you a whole 2 nights to explore at your leisure. Really just take care of yourself and get some sleep, and the phantom wont be an issue outside of grand adventures.

Llamas actually do have one useful mechanic, although I don't use it often. If one llama is on a lead, nearby llamas will follow. Since you can put chests on them, its basically early game shulker boxes.

Also I love your list :) I also got my list as well, it will be made into 5 parts, 1st being the best in my opinion, 2nd being good but should have some improvements or if they are just fine in my opinion, 3rd being bad in my opinion, 4th being mobs that should be removed in my opinion, and 5th and the most special of all mobs that I think should be in the game, and I'll give my reasons why I put them there, some mobs would be placed in the same place :) List 1st - 1. Villager: they're defenently the best in my opinion because they not only another humanoid like the player, but they are also extremely useful as well, different professions give you different stuff, so if you want a farmer that farms crops for you and other Villagers, Armorers that give you Armor for you adventures and protect them, and when you successfully defeat a raid, they give you stuff for a lower price, which is cool in my opinion :) 2. Iron and Snow Golem: these two are there to protect you and Villagers from all hostile mobs, the Iron Golem won't attack creepers tho... 3. Cow, Sheep, and Chicken: these three mobs are my main food source, but they can also give you leather, wool, feathers, milk, and eggs 4. Creeper and Wither Skeleton: the Creeper is the Icon of Micecraft, but not only that, they are possibly one of the most challenging mobs ever, with the explode! Wither Skeletons are really easy to fight, just go somewhere two blocks tall 5. Tropical Fish: They are colorful and not only beutiful, but they give more life to the oceans, and if you want to, make tanks with them 6. Warden: The Warden is possibly one of the most unike mobs in the game, with the ability to track you down via sencing for you via either vibrations or smelling you, it is a scary mob to encounter, and that's why we all love it, my only wish for the Warden tho is that it drops something that you can have that is not useful, but rather just a trophy for defeating it 7. Enderman: Endermen are defenently one of the most mysterious mobs in the game, the ability to teleport, being able to be found in all 3 dimensions, and having a language similar to ours, imparently it cannot swim tho... 8. Axolotl: They are cute 😍 9. Fox: one of the cuter Mobs in the game, it is also really unike to other mobs, as it would not only attack chickens and rabbits, but also eat them as well, Ocelots attack Chickens and Wolves attack Sheep and Rabbit, but Wolves and Ocelots won't eat them for some odd reason... 2nd - 10. Wolf: It is basicly Minecraft's dog, which I love dogs, my only gripe about the Wolf is that we cannot chose the breed of dog we want after we tame that Wolf, for a dog in Minecraft, I would like a Cavapoo :) 11. Salmon and Cod: They are both good food sources, the only problem with them is that they are not breedable, I would like them to be breedable that way we can farm them 12. Zombie, Husk, Zombie Villager, Drowned: they are all Zombies, fit well in the game, and pose a serious threat to you and Villagers, my only problem with them is that they don't give a negative effect when they attack you, quite frankly I wish they could give you a bad effect if they bite you, as Zombies in movies have the ability to infect people, so maybe a long term effect like if you get bit by a Zombie, you get Nausea and Hunger until either you die in Minecraft, or you go to a new Villager called the Doctor which can cure the infection by giving you weakness and a golden apple, like how players are able to convert Zombie Villagers into Villagers 13. Skeleton: they are a little to powerful, maybe make the Skeleton weeker than the Zombie then they would be a little better in my opinion 14. Pig and Horse: these two are good transportation, but there are minecarts boats and elytras 15. Pufferfish: they do puff up when you go near them, to be fair real life Pufferfish do the same thing 16. Polar Bear: in the game they are neutral, in real life they are very very dangerous, so in Minecraft they should make the Polar Bears so agressive that you don't want to encounter them 17. Panda: they are adorable 😍 18. Donkeys and Mules: they are pritty much like horses but you can put chest on them 19. Piglin, Piglin Brute, and Hoglin: they are there to mainly bring more life to the Nether 20. Endermite: They are pests that can be very useful for certain farms 21. Spider and Cave Spider: I think they are a little to big, and I think they should be neutral rather than aggressive 22. Llama, Ocelot, Rabbit, Turtle, Dolphin, Camel, Parrot, Bat: these are really great mobs for diversity in Minecraft :) 23. Illagers and Ravenger: They serve as the main Villians in Minecraft, and are a great challenge for the player 24. Blaze, Magma Cube, Squid, Glow Squid, Guardian, Witch, Ghast, Allay, Goat, Frog, Sniffer: I give them all the same rank because they not only give Minecraft more Diversity, but are also reay useful as well 25: Ender Dragon and Wither: These two serve as boss mobs, and they are hard to fight, but that's what make them bosses 3rd - 26: Cat: I don't like cats in real life, because a Cat bit my Step Sister's face before, then we had to sell the cat 4th - 27: Vex: they really scare me in raids for their ability to pass through walls, to defend my village from raids, I put up walls around my village so pillagers cannot get in, but Vexas can go through them... 28. Silverfish: they are annoying little pests! Nothing more I can say about them 29. Slime: They are just apsolutly terrifying, I had a bad experience with a Slime when I first encountered on in a flat world, so I think slimes should be removed, another way to get Slime balls would be to go to swamps and find Slime block patches 30. Phantom: They are annoying, terrifying, and useless 5th - Raccoon: I think the Raccoon would make a great addition in my opinion for many reasons, 1. They would attack Chickens, Rabbits, and Pigs, but after killing one of those three mobs and eating them or eating any food type, they would wait 10 minuets to look for more food, so they'll only attack other mobs when hungry Giraffe: it would bring more life to the Savanna Elephant: it would also bring more life to the Savanna Nightmare: The Nightmare would be found in deep deep caves, and would be down there just to scare you, but if you kill one, you would get Nightmare scales which would give Netherite armor more durability and make it stronger Penguin: it would bring more life to the Ice Burg biome Grizzly Bear: It would be a dangerous mob to encounter, but if it doesent have a Cub by it, it would rather look for honey, Sweet Berries, or Salmon, but would still be dangerous to encounter if you get to close to the bear Raith: it would be a ghost like mob found in the Nether and the Deep caves

In defense of llamas, they do serve one unique, potentially useful purpose: Their following mechanic could allow you to transport many more item stacks than your inventory space with nothing more than a single leash/lead. In a long-play survival world, I could easily imagine someone wanting to move their whole base. Llamas could help a lot with that.

I'm a relatively new player and I came up with my own food farm, specifically a fish farm, thanks to the natural behaviour of foxes. I was on a small taiga island and they kept swimming in the area swiftly catching and dropping salmon. Thus an idea was born: just fence the foxes into a large pond and go fetch the resulting loot. Only recently did I modify this using underwater magma blocks and bubble columns to suck down and kill fish instead, but I can never make those on quite the scale my foxes could.

I do think Pufferfish could have been a bit higher, as they do make for good proximity sensors for redstone. I think you put it in a waterlogged fence then put a pressure plate above it, and when it inflates due to player proximity, it'll activate the pressure plate.

I'll never understand why people find phantoms so annoying, just hit them as they dive you. It's not hard to time at all and if you're mid to end game and have a sharpness 5 nethwrite sword it will two tap them with no crits. For the ocelot, there is an achievement in Bedrock edition that requires you to "gain the trust of an ocelot" There is also an achievement that requires you to lead a caravan of at least 5 llamas. If you don't know, if you put a lead on a llama, other llamas will follow that llama like a train. Wandering trader llamas do this too.

If you kill a witch while it's drinking a potion, you will get that potion as an extra drop. Neat little detail. The pig was the first (well, intentional) mob in the game (unless you count Steve). Strays also drop arrows of slowness instead of normal arrows. Also you can still get most illager variants in woodland mansions. Finally (I hope), if you spawn the wither under the end's exit portal, it will rise into it and suffocate.

You criminally underated strider. He is like the best for finding bastions early and are great for finding nether structures overall cuz I sometimes do have problems with finding them without it. And the fact how common they are, the real challenge is finding a sadle.

Bats and polar bears (not ice bears) have unique coding, bats fly randomly, so turning it invisible and having another mob ride it makes really cool monsters, and polar bears only attack the player if you are between them and it’s baby So both are good for map makers :)

I think if there is an end update, the phantom should be moved there and only spawn under certain conditions or in specific biomes. It'll encourage exploration in the end to repair your wings
