I expand my minecraft city into the downtown area with my first build, a townhouse/condo. It's not only a full exterior but also a full interior.
Also after uploading I realized I hit 100 subscribers and want to thank everyone for the support and I'm so happy that I'm making things that people are truly enjoying!

I like the glass panes. It immediately gave more of a truck vibe. I don't think it needs to connect

The build looks really nice, the whole atmosphere of this town is quite cozy and pastel. I don’t know if you’ve seen it before, but there is a technique for brick-based buildings with alternating signs going up the corners of the building, which architecturally is meant to “support the bricks.” I think it could look cool with dark oak wood, to help give contrast to the 2 color tones you have… but I’m just thinking out loud. Mad respect to your skills! :)

I actually haven't heard of that technique before but I'll be sure to try it!

Found your channel recently, and I gotta say, I like the simplicity of everything so far. Also, for the walls around the river, I think the proper word is embankment or quay. Could be wrong but those words seem the closest to me.

Embankment sounds exactly like the word I was looking for, thank you!

For your truck, could you do a corner stair with a glass block behind the door? obviously it would mean that no one could physically enter the vehicle, and it does seem like you are going for a good deal of functionality, but from a purely visual standpoint i bet the glass being behind the stairs would be interpreted by the eye as being just a windshield. Idk just a thought

I actually really like this idea but I don't think it's possible. I don't know how to make a singular corner stair without another stair next to it. Also to put the glass blocks there, I would have to move the door further out and it needs a full block under it so it would look really weird.

@@cooltwo I think if you place stairs on either end, you can do it, and im pretty sure it stays after you remove them

I did wonder that though about the door. Ah well.

Your building style is beautiful! Love what you are doing. Edit: One thing that I like doing when building is to not pay attention to these small details, like the glass panes. I want to take in the whole build (and everything around) as a whole instead of picking it apart.

Learning to not nitpick is definitely good advice but also very hard to actually master lol

@@cooltwo Definitely true. Whenever there are small things that bug me I like to take a few steps back and look at builds from a distance for some time. Then everything slowly starts melting together.

As for me maybe I would build a house instead of a car. With glass blocks of course:) a car looks okay but you cannot drive it so. Yeah.

I can't believe you're the first person to mention that lol! I was thinking about bathrooms while making my layout but decided against it as there wasn't much space. Maybe in my next build I'll remember to leave a bit of extra space to take a dump!

I haven't published my full list of mods yet but I really should lol. When I have time this week I'll add them to the description of my world Tour video since I think that place makes the most sense. But all my mods are from either modrinth or curse forge so you can search for some of my more obviously used mods there in the mean time.
