MINECRAFT TRIAL CHAMBER GUIDE

Guide for the Trial Chamber In Minecraft 1.21. The trial chamber is a new structure that is found underground in the overworld that is composed of the new tuff and copper blocks. The trial chamber can be found with a trial chamber map. In the trial chamber will be trial spawners, vaults, and ominous vaults. If you defeat the total mobs from a trial spawner, you can get trial keys that can be used to unlock the vault. Doing an ominous trial will eject ominous trial keys from the ominous trial spawners. These ominous trial keys can be used to unlock the ominous vault. The vault and ominous vault will have unique loot items like the heavy core, banner patterns, armor trim, wind burst enchanted books, and other items. The breeze mob is only found in the trial chambers. The only way to get a lot of the new items in the minecraft 1.21 update is to go to the trial chamber.

IMPORTANT FOR NEWER PLAYERS If you do an ominous trial and its zombies, drown them and they will drop their armor and it usually is with prot 4.

Tried this in hard mode on bedrock and got murked by about 20 baby zombies in full prot 4 netherite armor. Then the baby that took my armor proceeded to die from fall damage and my armor was gone forever. I don’t know if I can go back after that one…

The ominous vaults are hidden in very sneaky places. Chances are there was one in some area you never looked at bc you assumed it was decoration. I missed 2 on my first run

Not gonna lie, here’s how I found it: I had a normal world with a normal spawn next to an ocean and a mangrove swamp biome, and I was located on some grasslands. There were 2 caves and I had fully explored both, and they were very large with lots of ores like red stone, lapis, gold, iron and diamonds. With these ores, I had made a diamond pickaxe and was now going to look for more diamonds for full armour. After strip mining on Y -11 for around 10 minutes, I had bumped into one without a clue of what it was. I was studying for a while about it until I found this helpful video, and it told me about it, thanks!

My friend found one of these on our world nd did it while I was at our base. He got the keys for us and came back nd brought me out there with him but the ominous vaults only let me open them and not him even tho he was the one who drank the bad omen nd did the ominous trial for the keys. I recently completed a trial chamber mainly using boats, a shield, some cobblestone, and iron tools and armor. Planting boats near the spawners makes it so much easier 😂. The skeletons and zombies stay trapped in there as I pick them off one by one. Pillaring with cobblestone is also fun to mess with because you can make improvised parkour and kill the breeze mob as it tries to attack you. And the tools weren't even enchanted. Bow and arrow is essential for sniping mobs from a safer distance, especially when your health is low.

Just a question, I got a map and visited a trial chamber but it had 2 vaults for loot? Is this bad luck or was I missing them, it had many more ominous vaults but I couldn’t unlock them since I did not drink an ominous bottle.

You can unlock the vaults and get ominous bottles or you'll have to wait for pillager patrols or go to a pillager outpost to get ominous bottles.

No u can do the ominous trial as much as u want coz the spawners reset. You’re just limited in rewards based on how many ominous vaults r in the trial chambers u find

You can, but you can’t open the ominous vault more than once. The trial spawners can eject multiple keys, if you space it out.

I got so lucky and found the lucky chambers. I was in the nether and was too lazy to walk back to the portal, so I made a new one and it spawned me right inside the trial chambers. Going there tomorrow lol

I found a trial chamber in a cave in a world that I have been playing for a month, I created the world in 1.20 and had ventured to this one specific cave in where there was a dungeon with a zombie spawner before in a specific spot but after 1.21 I came back to the cave and with the update, the dungeon became a tuff brick wall in where I mined into the wall, finding a whole ass trial chamber with a husk conveniently spawning to confirm my suspicions 😂.

Does the level of ominous bottle just affect the duration of the trial omen effect or does it effect the strength of mobs and loot from ominous key aswell? Also do the mobs get harder in a raid as the level of the ominous bottle increases or just the number of waves? I cant seem to find the answers anywhere

It affects the enchantments on the armor and length of the trial. If the mob doesn’t wear armor the total mob count is doubled. The mobs and total mobs are specific to the ominous trial spawner and don’t change depending on the ominous trial.

Here’s a little tip for bedrock players, if you need coordinates of structures/biomes make a copy of the world you want to find them in, then turn cheats on and use the command “ /locate structure (whatever you’re looking for)

The number of trial keys and vaults aren’t connected. You could end with extra or not enough trial keys.

I found one accidentally while caving in my 1.20 world when the update came out. I did some Coord calcs and made a small hut above it so I knew where it was, got my best armor, and am about to tackle it. Looks fun. Edit: The reason I said accidentally was because I was in a situation where a lot of mobs were spawning on me while I was in a set using an iron chest plate, pants, and boots, and a turtle shell helmet, I dug into a wall. I found a wall of polished tuff and was curious because I didn't recognize the block

I've done afew trail Chambers now. Still no heavy core. I was doing one earlier. Had finished the trial. Still had awhile left on my timer. So I took another bad omen bottle. Yet no mobs were spawning. Its the first time I've encountered this problem

The number of ominous vaults depends of how it generates, but there should be I would say 5 at the lowest probably more than that.

It can be a weird sometimes. You should check behind every door and if there is an entrance see if it goes way up, there could be parts that are on top of each other.

Probably the best possible, netherite full enchantments. It is suppose to be a mid-game challenge, so diamonds would be fine. The key is to not spawn too many mobs at once and to pick your spots with food ready if your health gets too low.

Did regular one with iron stuff w shield it was easy if u find skeleton spawner try line them up so they fire eachother for baby zombies slay them from above for the new mini boss use shield and avoid those traps also u can slay any mob with iron stuff if u play it smart like slay them above or do small bunker splash potions etc but as the creator said neth/diamond w enchants are way to go if u want to rush the trials also spawn them one by one as he said

There isn’t a limit they will start working again after cooldown and can keep ejecting loot items each time.

You have to find a new trial chamber. If you go back to the same villager or villager, they'll just give you a map to the same trial chamber. You'll have to go to a new village or villager farther away to try and find a new trial chamber. Also, I would go through and double check the trial chamber as it can be really easy to miss chambers or ominous vaults.
