If this iteration of the bundle lasts lol. We’ll probably get at least two more versions of it. GTA VI will be released before we finally get bundles in game 🥲 I really think Mojang realizes that the solution to Minecraft’s inventory issues cannot be fixed with a single new item. For redstone it almost looks like they removed quasiconnectivity, breaking almost every build that uses pistons, i hope they fix it soon

QC still exists, but redstone produces far fewer block updates now. I think I've seen someone say that it's only the blocks that redstone actually powers now, rather than a block or two away in every direction. So you can rely on QC, but you can't rely on running a redstone line next to something QC'd to update it without powering it, you'll need to power a noteblock or similar instead. Ovservers still seem to work with redstone dust as before (but there may be cases that I don't know to check)

These decisions have or will negatively impact certain parts of minecraft’s playbase, yes, and that sucks-however, i highly doubt it’s a *goal* of the devs to do that. Result is not equal to intention. I highly doubt they make these changes 1) intending them to be bad and 2) intending to piss off a certain subset of players. PvP players hated the combat update and use older versions or mods to restore the old combat style, but that is only one part of players- many play survival and are indifferent or prefer the change. And it’s only fully the cooldown method on Java too. But i digress, point is Mojang might make bad updates and piss off some players, but they aren’t *trying* to. It makes no sense to *try* to make bad updates and drive away players-and even if dev teams have done that before, Mojang isn’t one of them. I say all this also wishing they had handled the updates you mentioned differently by the way.

There is a bit of a difference though. Minecart speed logic treats the tickspeed and minecart speed as a multiplier rather than the actual velocity of the minecart. Because both of those values are signed ints, negative multiplication happens constantly resulting in minecart seisures. SM64 treats Mario's speed value as a signed int with a positive speed cap but no negative speed cap. Negative speed values in SM64 are actually treated as velocity rather than a multiplier. No multiplication happens and therefore, no seisure (except for the camera which cannot go into a PU and freaks out whenever Mario's positional values are out of bounds.)

Even around turns on rails, the minecart leaves the rails facing one of the four cardinal directions. If there was a way to make the minecarts faster in survival, I could totally see it being a new ultra compact tnt cannon design. But unless that happens, I can still see this being a fun minigame idea where you don't need to worry about minecarts always going fast. Maybe build some ships in the ocean and make tnt minecart cannons on the ships using this. Or maybe castle wars with this. Two castles, teams must defend their castle, you can charge out with a sword or bow but you can also stay back to defend, using the cannons.

The minecart acceleration setup reminds me of the catapults made in Eden - World Builder. Similar concept: acceleration blocks and then something to release you once at max speed.

Rabbit hide needs more uses but I don't think bundles are the right fit. Bundles are meant to be convenient and getting rabbit hide is far from that. I hope they add something for rabbit hide soon though

you forgot to mention the redstone randomness change and you can now power things from above by placing redstone on top while before you had to feed it into a block on the side or into the dispenser or whatever u wanted to power, u couldnt directly power from on top. This is huge as you can now make much more compact machines than before.

Randomness is cool, so if the redstone dust from a lever or power output is the same to the inputs for dispensers or pistons, they will be randomly chosen when all is powered. So if you wanted to make a gambling machine, now itd be a lot easier to make.
