Minecraft Tutorial: Simple Campfire & Hopper system. No Redstone; no Mods. Bedrock edition.

Cooking over a campfire in Minecraft saves a lot of fuel, but if you have to babysit your fire to collect your food, it isn’t exactly practical.
In this tutorial I will show you how to craft a simple collection system with hoppers and barrels. This system allows you to put your food on the fire and let the hoppers collect it into storage for you.
This is NOT a Redstone machine. You don’t need to understand Mumbo Jumbo to do this there is no red stone required. Also, there are NO MODS required. This system can be made successfully with pure Vanilla Minecraft.
With this hopper system you can cook anything you would normally cook over a campfire, such as fish, meat, potatoes, and kelp (for fuel blocks or eating if your desperate). I used kelp because my Island is in the middle of nowhere, and kelp is abundant whereas coal is not. There is also a desert village not too far with a butcher who buys kelp fuel blocks, so that’s definitely to my advantage.

I just did a straight line of 16 campfires (whole stack of cooked food) and covered the back and sides. Campfire’s been out for a while, but it’s sooo underrated. Infinite fuel with fast cooking time? Yeah it’s not automatic, but damn it’s so helpful. Hopefully they don’t nerf it

Too bad you can't hopper kelp onto the campfires to fully automate it

You probably can, but I'm kind of addicted to the sound of slapping them down on the fire. 😂
