@namiature so I was having trouble putting the 3 beds over the holes. I had to improvise and fill in the hole with blocks, add the beds, and break the blocks so the beds are hovering over the holes. When I got the villagers to go to sleep, I broke the beds, but they didn't fall in. They feel on the nearest block next to the hole. What can I do?

Try to place many leaves in the surrounded area

You must have not built it 7 deep or there must be some uneven land around the farm. So, even the land around the farm or place buttons on the land around the farm
