The fact that wind charges infinitely stack is HUGE! Player launchers, arrow/enderpearl railguns and many other previously TNT duper powered contraptions become SO much easier! We might even see Cubicmetre making another iteration of his intercontinental bombardement machine that uses TNT or even *other wind charges* to launch wind charges and arrows at a specific location to have a payload of hypersonic instakill arrows delivered at any coordinate you wish.

I think with the randomness of windcharges it might be hard to be precise enough to use them for a supersonic cannon.

I wonder if it wouldn't be feasible to make an excel table comparing the number of wind charges to the number of blocks covered after being cannoned. Also, an improvement to the wind charge cannon would be to be able to set an adjustable counter in advance to obtain a precise number of wind charges in staze. Combine these two things and put another cannon on the other x or z axis, and you can have a cannon that sends you a long way for very little cannon loading time!

The excel method would certainly be viable with some experimentation. Thats how the TNT orbital strike cannon by cubicmeter works

It happened now Hectoris just made a V4 of the machine in this video, and it lets you choose how many wind charges you want to store via the number of items in a dispenser, and will automatically stop storing more when it reaches that number

I'm heartbroken that the cobweb stasis doesn't work with bedrock, and that wind charges/TNT doesn't interact with arrows at all! There is a trick to make them float straight up in the air by placing honey blocks along their path, but it doesn't work every time, and i have not found a way to fix them in place.

It's kinda funny how loading a cannon with wind charges from breezes was always possible, but we only thought to try it when the item was added. I actually want to try making one of these in survival, having a sky base with one of these as the method of reaching it would be sick

We should be able to craft wind charges like we can fire charges, maybe via duplication (the wind charge recipe contains another wind charge)

i think mojang should just add the loot of these mobs, not the mob. Nobody really pays attention to the mob anymore, just the farm material it offers

These are really cool but in order for breezes to respawn they have to die so if you trap one, that spawner will no longer give you a breeze

Not true, if the breezes leave the area or go to another dimension the spawner can produce more. The 30 min cooldown between waves still applies though.

Literally the only bad things about these is how slow it is to get them, only 2 breezes per spawner every 30 minutes is not enough!

That’s wrong, one trial spawner can summon up to 6 breezes every 30 minutes. But thankfully the device at the end allows you to capture the wind charge entities (not the items) with no limit I do wish there was a way to farm the actual items faster though

@@michael23b Thanks for the clarification, I think I heard the two breezes per 30 minutes from a raysworks vid but it doesnt really matter. Really cool things you did with the wind charge, cant wait till its out of snapshots.

When you launch yourself 10k+ blocks in a horizontal direction, does the game load all those chunks?

Not necessarily, I tested this in a normal world and actually had to relog to get it to load the world location that I suddenly got launched to EDIT: Actually I think it probably does have to load the chunks, cause you will collide with anything that gets in the way.

@@michael23b I think if you get accelerated fast enough, you can skip over several chunks in a single tick and none of them get loaded this is more or less how scicraft's pearl cannon is able to work over huge distances without the need for all the chunks to be loaded along the path between the cannon and the destination

Not really, the detection for the color is just a bit slow. It’s more of a proof of concept.

The detection is a little slow, but as for seeing the concrete powder falling, the game does have some delay between the wind charge blasting it sideways vs when it actually renders in the new location
