@Tom-jy6mc possibly, but that can't be stated definitively as incel culture is more against the 'chads' and 'staceys'. Its core issues are not with pronouns and pronoun use. Regardless, Az is not an incel and I'm not quite sure it was a single game option that made him have a breakdown. It was the sentiment behind the option and a general culmination of his feelings on the topic as a whole. A little cringe? Over the top? Absolutely. That is his style though and I believe he was making valid points about how some media companies have this complete virtue signalling, hollow nonsense shoehorned into their productions. To be clear I am indifferent to pronouns and people using them. What I'm not a fan of and the overall point Az was making is media companies pandering for the sake of pandering. Adding in a pronoun option which is irrelevant as it will almost exclusively be used when the player character isn't around is a perfect example of that. In addition, adding pronouns but only having 3 options is also a clear virtue signal. It's either about representation for all or it isn't. Fairly simple. All of that being said I actually agree with the types of people that get called incel. However, much like nazi that word has been overused and used in the wrong context for so long now it essentially means nothing. Have a wrong opinion about a female character? Incel. Criticise a female only movie for aspects not relating to them being women? Incel. Dislike she hulk for valid reasons solely to do with the poor writing? Tough shit you're an incel. It's honestly quite tiresome.

It’s a really gross concept tbh. For a lot of creepy guys women are worth less if they aren’t virgins and a lot of guys think if you haven’t lost your virginity you’re not a real man. So all round sucks for everyone and we should definitely get rid of it. Especially because for a lot of people the “sign” of a virgin on a woman’s body is if their hymen is unbroken. Which is really dumb because you can be born without them or partially intact and they can also be broken through other non-sexual activities. In some places there’s even surgeries to “fix”/“replace” the hymen. There are even places that do virgin checks, where parents will order a doctor to check their child’s hymen. Any medical personnel who agrees to do this should lose their licence. It’s such a gross invasion of privacy. It’s not even places in the Middle East, I’ve seen women talk about doctors in America who do it. It’s also bizarre to me the whole thing of if women have a lot of sex they’re disgusting but if men do they’re amazing. Mathematically that doesn’t work out, you’d have to be a dude banging dudes to keep women’s numbers down. Also really hate when women get compared to objects regarding body count. Like the old “a key (man) that opens many locks(women) is useful but a lock that opens for many keys is useless.” Okay dude, well maybe I’m the key and you’re the lock. tl;dr have as much or as little consensual sex you want. Virginity is fake, it’s just boomer (and older) culture trying to be sexist and weirdly controlling.

(8:00) Character customisation, pronoun included, _increases_ immersion. The character creation itself isn't immersion and can't be immersion breaking, because you're creating a character. You're not in the universe yet. The immersion happens when you're done and enter the universe with your character, and having people refer to your character with the correct pronoun. Unless it's an in-universe character creator which creates the biological organism right there. But then choosing the pronouns seems like an obvious step in the process. Such as, "should we call your creation he, she, they or it?"

I’ve been ignored after giving my height (5’11 which is actually considered tall), I’ve been stood up, ghosted and only received a “hey” hundreds of times from women with zero social or conversation skills. Guys can develop anxieties around the fact being a virgin. It makes them even more awkward around women and lowers their self esteem. For adults it is expected to have some experience. There are cases of very successfull bussiness man losing everything, because the failed to coupe with this issue. I think it is a step in the developement to an adult. How important this step is, depends on subjective circumstances. I speak from personal experience. Met my first GF with 32. Was married for seven years to another women and am now a single father of twins. My personal experience, I stood out within the vast amount of messages women get on dating platforms, by not mentioning their looks and not complementing at all. I took a neutral stance and was eager to see, what characters I might talk to and where a conversation might led me too. The first message always connected to something in their profile. And if I got no reply or was being ghosted, I did not take it personal. It took a while getting used to this. The funniest thing was being harrased by a women who thought I was cheating on some one, whilest never having a girlfriend before.
