Bread in the fridge keeps it fresher for longer. I put mine in the freezer so it doesn't go moldy by the time I'm done with it. Toasted bread is the only way to eat a sandwich anyway.

Fridge condensation actually makes fridge bread act like a sponge for bacteria... like eggs they spoil faster in damp fridges which is why they recomend storing in cool dry place like a cupboard

My freezer has 3 dead chickens, 1 dead crow, 1 dead magpie, 1 dead coot (bird), one dead fox, a couple dead snakes and lizards, a bunch of dead bugs including bees, katydids and stick insects, I think also a dead bird of prey of some sorts. We used to have a dead Australian water rat (rakali) but I’m not sure if it’s still there. There’s less space for food because over half the freezer is dedicated to preserving dead animals for eventual taxidermy, pinning and framing, and wet specimens in alcohol.
