I feel like this is a good place to put a wholesome comment. My cat, Casper was reunited with his mother a month ago. He was a stray cat and I took him into my home when he was on the streets. The vets have done blood tests and dna tests. Finally, after almost 7 years his mother was found and they met :D the mother belonged to a very nice old lady and Casper has never been happier. It was adorable seeing him connect with his mother that wasn’t there for the first years of his life. I hope this made ur day better.

True male torties are sterile and are known to have health issues. This is due to chromosome issues. Make sure you have a good vet and get him checked out! He may not be a true tortie but if he is, he will need some medical help at some point.

since people are putting wholesome stories i want to add mine (it’s not recent) so when i was 8, my cat, Violet, was run over by car. we never found who did it. i was sick with the flu and asleep the night it happened. my dad was awake watching telly in the living room. our neighbour was also up and she put my cat in a box and brought her to us. my dad was crying downstairs but of course i didn’t hear. the next morning i had recovered from flu and went to my parents room to ask for my cat because i loved seeing her. then both my parents broke down in tears telling me she had been run over. i cried for days. i even broke down at school in the playground because people were talking about pets. but when i came home from school, my dad told me to open a box in front of me. i opened it with my sister and there was a kitten inside, mewing. it was the same breed as Violet and my dad had drove for hours to get her for me and my sister. she is named betty and we still have her today. she says hi to you all
