It's War Thunder. Nothing works as intended. Most APFSDS at engagement distances of War Thunder map in almost all cases should go right through.

Still crazy to me that gaijin flags the bug reports for the APS as "not a bug but a feature" when the only proof of this APS stopping apfsds is literally by the manufacturer, which casually didn't mention the caliber of apfsds used in successful interception, and yet so many other things backed up by sources are considered "not backed up enough" to be added. Not against letting Britain have at least a decent vehicle, but potentially the most annoying and unfair vehicle to fight against.

Only one that comes to mind is the Object 292 with 1980m/s. Pretty sure everything else (including Kh-38MTs) can be destroyed by it. Pretty powerful

There is quite a lot of tanks at top tier with shells that go a bit faster: Type 10(Japan) has 1780m/s DM53(Germany long barrel Leo) has 1750m/s DTC10-125 (China) has 1750m/s and Type 1985-I 1730m/s France has OFL G1 1780m/s OFL F1 1790m/s

@Zeupeorvk the reason I didn’t mention those was because at the distances where the shells will be intercepted (around 1-2km), I imagine (no confirmation of this) the shells will have lost the velocity required to beat the APS, hence why they can all be stopped. You are correct though, thanks!
