I listened to this on a lark, and it was really well done. After the 6th listen, I went to hear the original, and frankly I like this cover much better. I was reminded of a beautiful girl I wanted to marry in college, she had so many wonderful qualities. I would have done anything for her, but it didn't work out. I fell to tears listening to you sing this over the sheer poignancy of those times. These words, this melody, this singing found those memories and spoke them aloud again after 40 years. thank you for this video.

I feel you buddy, same here, 45 years. Im very happily married know for 30 and adore my dear wifey. I observed that my first love passed a short time ago and I really felt very sad. Its crazy how attached we as young men get on a gal. Then it made me sick the brake up, today I just sit in my veggie garden under a tree and smile at the fond and bitter sweet memories. First, I am a fan. I love your work. The videography in this one, however, became unwatchable for me with the constant, slightly jerky walking around of the videographer. A bit of that is good, but too much and we just get dizzy. Closed my eyes and just listened and it was great.
