If you listen to the entire performance closely, you can hear her taking more breaths than usual with a shakier voice that sounds slightly strained from trying not to cry. With the comment above me, she did just lose somebody close to her, and she sang this song in memory of them

Faouzia performed this song so many times during her Citizen tour and live shows in China, she always execute that note perfectly and I can say that because I watched almost all of the clips from her tour. You can tell from the start of this performance she was trying to hold all of her emotions in.

3:03I know this feeling very well when you lose someone that is really dear to your heart💔. I've just remembered my fav teacher(maths) who passed on 4 years ago because of Covid, He was really really precious to me💔. He wasn't one of my family but he supported me both emotionally and didactically and never hurted me with a single word. He was kinda person "Do good deeds, no reward to seek", I can never complimented him enough..

Before, I thought of this song as being about loving someone and being so in love that you'll do anything for them, even if you don't always seem like a perfect match. This performance gave me a different interpretation. It makes me think of loving someone who is no longer living and wanting to give anything to be with them, almost like the story of Orpheus and Eurydice.
