MINEHEAD STATION WSR THE LAST TIME TRAINS RETURNED AFTER A LONG ABSENCE

It was largely a case of replacing a lot of worn out track and difficulties in getting replacement points in places.

@@ADMIRALSCORNER ~ oh I see ... the track ( and points too ) have seen a lot of use and I can well understand the need for maintenance and safety .. I suppose the track gets inspection audits on a regular basis like our heritage tracks do ...
