Minelab clone detector can I fix it to be as good as a genuine Minelab.

The story I heard is that a Codan exec connected their work laptop to hotel wifi... Which was a honeypot, and all their credentials got logged, and they got in and exfil'd all the design files. It is interesting, looking at stuff like this. Blindly copying without understanding really brings the nuance in the orginal into sharp relief.

The Chinese try to copy a $10k 7000 and sell it for $2k, they have the capacity to do it right and sell them for $5k but they don't seem to understand this when it comes to detectors like they have with other things.

Are u familiar with the wireless XP vlf machines. They say most of the detector is inside the coil.... Here is a vid of the WS6 puck interface box thing that can mount to the shaft or headphones. here is a vid inside ws6, kzbin.info/www/bejne/h3yui6Z8gNqViKM (start at 9:00 mark) ....... It's crazy how XP uses so little electronic components but Minelab is crammed full of all kinds of crap.... What's strange with XP is u can use the same coil with different models (legend, deus, deus 2) but yet most of the detector is in the coil
